I read the reviews before we went here and YES - this place was great primarily because of the women working the front desk AND who was also the phlebotomist! She was fantastic!!

She was so friendly and efficient. We had a great time as well, yuckin it up with her.

Pros: The facility was clean (previous facility on Penn Ave). Providers are caring, and seem competent at technical aspects of their job.

However - be very careful you know what tests Allied will do. They said they accepted my insurance, but most of the STI tests that were completed were not actually covered. They claim to have no idea how insurance will handle their claims.

I chose Allied for my testing due to convenience and Allied seemed safe, but would not have gone if I knew I was going to get a few hundred $ of non-covered preventative care, as other clinics gave more clear explanation of expected costs (even free). Reliable STI kits and tests outside of insurance are even available for $100-200 range at a pharmacy, so I do not see why I would go here.

I spoke with my insurance and Allied about this several times, and at this point I am pretty confident I have no recourse. Hence, I figured it's time to write an honest review so others can make an informed choice what care to get before they get to this point.

Everything about the phlebotomy training was more than beneficial. Dr.Simmons , nurse Lee and our teacher CeCe were very supportive and very encouraging. I appreciate them so much and I will never forget my experience.

This place is a God send and Kami is wonderful! The atmosphere was so welcoming and she made my first visit stress free and she really listened to me which is something I never had from any doctor. I'm glad I made the decision to establish care with this place. Thank you so much Kami ♥️
