This is the 3rd company I have used in the past 14 years. By far the best and most helpful. They are also the only ones that have required yearly reviews. That is a good thing.

I've been to a few sleep studies around the globe. This was by far the worst consultation I've ever been to. The ladies out front are very polite and personable. Then you meet a doctor on a zoom meeting. Wow!! So rude!! The doctor laughed at my severe sleep apnea then he kept telling me to stop asking questions and wait until the end of the meeting to ask my questions. After that he droned on in another language until I again asked what he was saying. He again told me to hush and let him tell me what I didn't understand. The office wasn't very clean but it wasn't horrible until I stuck to the table while filling out papers. It was really a bad experience. I will be going to Fairbanks sleep center from now on!!!!

My experience must have been the worst medical service I have ever received. The office was unorganized - communication between the doctor, who is independent of the clinic and does not even live in Alaska, was poor, leading to a lack of coordination of diagnosis. The doctor could not be reached except by appointment when he happened to be in Fairbanks. The day I was scheduled for the sleep study, the medical notes the technician had differed from the study discussed with the doctor, and the clinic was understaffed, resulting in a shorter study than I had discussed with the doctor. A different study from the one discussed with me by the doctor was performed. The diagnostic plan called for the study, evaluation, and prescriptions in a two month window, before my insurance lapsed; despite numerous calls on my part, the results were not in for almost six months. The doctor did not discuss the results with me in a timely manner, rather sending me short note when I finally requested it. Due to the delay in diagnosis my insurance paid much less than anticipated. Two sleep studies were performed, although I was later told that the initial home-based study could not diagnose a sleep disorder. I requested a payment plan; shortly after the clinic had collected payment, I received letters from a collection agency, which I am fighting now. The billing department of the clinic is not responsive to my voice mails (I have reached voice mail each time I have called). This is my experience; others may have had better luck.

I tried using alaska sleep Clenic for almost one year. Out of the 10 time I should have received my much needed supplies. I received 3 of them and that is after multiple calls and a great deal of excuses and lies. Do not use if you need equipment that needs replacement parts, if you need help, or are expecting service.

I've requested supplies from them regularly for a couple of years, but have yet to ever receive any supplies. When I call to ask about it, if they even answer the phone, I'm told they don't have any notes and don't know why they haven't been sent. The person I talk to usually just offers to place another order, rather than figure out why a previous order was never sent. If I had another choice (for Insurance reasons, I don't) I'd switch in a heartbeat.
