Alabama Home Care Specialists were absolutely heaven sent when my mother became ill. I was put as ease the moment Erica and Derrick showed up to speak with us. Their care givers were top notch and my mother loved them being there-- she genuinely loved Miss Teri! I cannot say enough about Alabama Home Care Specialist. Attentive, caring and responsive to the client. My Mother was in assisted living but needed 24 hour a day sitters to prevent falling. We tried 2 other services before AHCS but once we switched the difference was immediately apparent. Derek and Erika are wonderful to work with and truly have a servant heart. That company improved the quality of my Mother's last year of life. I am eternally grateful to Alabama Home Care Specialist.

My Mother was a very complicated patient as a result of complications from a stroke. She was on a ventilator, a feeding tube and required 24/7 care and was totally dependent on someone else. She required someone experienced with giving medicines, breathing treatments, wound care, and personal hygiene. Erika and Derek came in and listened to our needs and made an extensive assessment as to how to staff us for the time we needed help. Before they left on that 1st day they had a plan for my mothers care and the next day she called back and told us when the caregivers could start. From that first day every caregiver was professional, experienced, had an excellent bedside manner and most of all had a dedication for giving the kind of care that my Mother needed in a Most Loving, genuine and Caring way. With Mother being a nurse herself I knew she approved of all her caregivers by the smile she gave each one.That was a huge relief to the family. All the challenges that presented themselves were never ignored and were met with timely and diligent work ethic by all caregivers and Erika and Derek. The family will forever hold a place in our hearts for all those on the team of Alabama Home Care Specialist.

My Father had advanced Alzheimer's and required sitters that were able to meet his needs, which changed during his last weeks. AHCS met those needs quickly and well with sitters that cared about his welfare. They helped with emergency care when needed. This company cares about the welfare of their clients and I highly recommend them.
