Some of these doctors there I don't know how they got there damn license to be a medical Dr. My mother went in for a test where they put a scope/camera down your throat to look for what's causing trouble with you. When the (don't know how to spell the word) medicine wore off that they put you out for procedures . Her blood pressure was sky high. They were going to release her but my sister refused to let her come home with blood pressure way up. So they kept her overnight then released her the next day. Approximately 2 weeks later when one of the nurses that comes to your home to check up on your well being said about her having a mild heart attack while she was in there she was in there she was in dumbfounded. They never even told her she had one but still released her... Mind you she's 90 years old and yes my sister was with her most of her stay including the procedure she had done & was kept up to date on her health except the mild heart attack. One day when I was there I mentioned about always! Seeing a new doctor every time there & ask why they seem to be a new one every time. They told me they have a hard time keeping them but didn't want to mention why. Makers you wonder? Didn't even want to give one star. Some of the doctors there are good though, far & very few though.

I recently had bloodwork done at ACMH on Friday, March 14, consisting of six tests, all marked as STAT for immediate processing. This was my first visit to this hospital, and I was initially pleased with the smooth registration process and the ability to create a patient portal for quick access to my results. However, my experience quickly took a turn for the worse.
Several hours after my lab visit, I checked the patient portal and was alarmed to find that only four of the six test results were available. Given the urgency of these labs, I immediately reached out to ACMH for clarification. After multiple messages and phone calls, I finally spoke with someone at the lab who assured me that all six tests were run but that the progesterone test had to be sent out for processing. When I asked why I wasnât informed of this delay beforehand, I was met with a rude response: "We work with your provider all the time, and he's always fine with getting progesterone a day late."
This was not acceptable, as my provider needed all results the same day. Additionally, I asked about the missing LH test, and the staff member claimed she could see it but had no explanation for why it wasnât appearing in my portal. She promised that all results would be sent to my provider. At this point, I had to trust their word and messaged my provider to inform them about the progesterone delay.
Unfortunately, my provider was very upset, as they did require the progesterone results the same day. By this time, it was already near the end of the business day, meaning I had no option to go elsewhere for a retest - I wouldn't have made it to a lab in time.
On Monday, I checked my portal again, expecting to see both the progesterone and LH results. The progesterone had finally appeared, but my provider informed me that the LH test was still missing. I reached out to ACMH again through the patient portal, only to receive an evasive response that felt like they were trying to brush me off. Despite confirming that the LH test was missing from my patient portal and my provider had not received it, the representative kept insisting that I needed to check with my provider. I even sent a copy of my original lab order to prove that LH was supposed to be tested.
At this point, Iâm left wonderingâwas the LH test ever performed? Was it lost? Or was I just lied to? Either way, ACMHâs lab is either incompetent or dishonest. Had they admitted the missing test during my first call, I could have had it redone the same day elsewhere. Instead, I was misled, my provider was left without crucial results, and my time was completely wasted.
I sincerely hope their billing department is more competent than their lab because at this point, I wouldnât be surprised if I get charged for a test that apparently wasnât even done. If that happens, rest assured, I will be fighting the charge.
If you need accurate, reliable, and timely lab results, I highly recommend going anywhere but ACMH.
UPDATE: THEY NEVER RAN THE TEST!
After writing this review, I finally heard back from their lab. It turns out that they never actually ran the LH test at all. And to make matters worse? They canât run it now because they only keep blood samples for two days. Had they been honest during my first call, this could have been fixed immediately. Instead, they rushed to get me off the phone and cost me valuable time.
I have repeatedly requested that the cost of all of these tests be removed from my account, as their incompetence has now directly impacted my IVF treatmentâa process I have already spent thousands of dollars on. The fact that a simple test was mishandled this badly is completely unacceptable.
I FLAT OUT REFUSE TO GIVE THIS SAD EXCUSE OF A HEALTH SYSTEM ANY OF MY MONEY.
If you value your health, your time, and your money, do not trust ACMH with your lab work. Their lack of accountability and blatant disregard for patient care is astonishing. I will never return.

Horrible! Went there for a broken ankle. ER visit, and it needed surgery. Unable to find a surgeon they wanted to send me home till they found one! After arguing I spent the night in the ER. (They had no beds) surgery was the next day. They sent me home two days after with a walker that is too high on the lowest setting, with prescription to give myself a shot in my stomach and to stop a blood pressure med of mine while using the shot.(they never showed me how to even do the shot)Anxiety listed on my discharge papers. Prescription was not sent to the pharmacy till the next day. My stay was horrible from most of the floor workers except a few. After going through the other ankle break a few years at another hospital. No comparason.Communication is non existing there. I could continue however I'm thankful I'm home. Very tempted to file a complaint with someone.

Worst hospital, I pray no one else ever has to go there. Not only was I quite literally butchered during my sons birth there: it doesnât matter who I speak to or how many time I call to get receipts for payments that ARMSTRONG BILLED ME, They have virtually no info or knowledge on WHAT I was billed for or anyway to look it up apparently. I just needed these receipts for my FSA and it has been impossible. Avoid this hospital like the plague, even if you have the plague.

If I could give this hospital 100 stars I would. I have nothing but great things to say about this hospital. I have been going to the same obgyn doctor since I was 16 and I continue to see her til this day, all the doctors in that department are amazing though because I did see them at one point during my pregnancy journey. I have had both my children at this hospital and the experiences both phenomenal. I canât express how much the entire staff shows so much compassion and love towards you as a patient and that is exactly what you want when someone is in that field taking care of you. I will continue to always go here for all my needs. Thank you to all the
nurses and staff. I want to shout out to nurse Kristen for she was a beautiful soul and made me feel comfortable the entire time.

I was admitted through a 201 from IRMC, that experience with them alone was something else but thatâs nothing that ACMH did or couldâve fixed. This transpired from concerning behavior observed by my fiancĂŠ that could very well have ended in a suicide but they took me to IRMC. I am transported from IRMC to ACMH and directly admitted to the adult psych ward floor as I know it to be. I get shown to my room which has a name tag of my deadname in large letters (I am transgender). Sitting down for Iâd say 5 minutes on my bed snuggling the only comfort item I had besides my engagement ring, my teddy bear, and I have who I assume to be the floor manager, an intake person, two guys with latex gloves, and an armed security guard all in the hallway effectively blocking my doorway. The floor manager as Iâll call her demanded they take my bear (Camper is his name, Iâve had him on two other psych units over the last ten years with no problems) willingly or âwe have people who can assist in thatâ gesturing to the armed guard and two guys in gloves. I repeatedly said no because⌠letâs be real itâs a teddy bear. The floor manager got a stronger attitude the longer it went on, even at one point saying something to the effect of âcome on, weâve been going on for 10 minutes?â and the armed guard was stepping closer effectively blocking me in my room. There was one point I locked eye contact and told him with some vulgarity that he can take a step back. Through all of this I was told that itâs just hospital policy, which was clearly written by someone who never has attempted their own life, known anyone who has, or even visited a proper ward floor. I eventually had to give in because I was just so over the day at large and specifically that experience. I ended up calling my fiancĂŠ with the hospital phone, explaining the above and we agreed that filing a 72 hour notice, getting discharged, and finding another facility was the proper move.
During the next day while we waited for the doctor to talk to me, I wasnât given any article of my own clothing and was left to wear the paper clothes that IRMC had me change in to. The staff cited, again, policy that the doctor had to talk to me. Lunch and dinner were served and, donât get me wrong I didnât expect much out of hospital food but, the portions were insanely small. They allowed one caffeinated beverage during breakfast and lunch and no caffeine during dinner. Overall most of the staff and nurses made me feel like an inconvenience rather than someone who needs and can receive proper help.
I ended up talking to Michael, the psychiatrist, and we determined that discharging and finding another facility was the right move. Michael was one of the best doctors, even in our shorter conversation, that Iâve ever had experience with.
Nurse Lisa and Aide Evan were spectacular through my short stay. If I needed something they could provide they gladly helped me and if it was something they couldnât do they thoroughly explained why they couldnât. All three of those mentioned here truly went above and beyond.
Even with those commendations I still can not urge you enough to stay away from this facility if you need mental health care. Absolutely atrocious facility and most staff in that regard, through and through.

Well for one I bring my wife in around 3:00-3:30 because she couldn't kick the cold or flu she had. My wife was in bad shape all her numbers were bad. They gave her x-rays in the room and told us she was going into kidney feller. And they need to do a CT to see if they could treat her here or send her to Pittsburgh. Now they gave her the CT at 4:45 and waited and waited my wife wanted something to drink and kept telling her we can't till we get the CT. And 5 hours later watch is bullshit the CT came back. This hospital needs to hire someone to read x-rays in house so like my wife should not lay for hours to find out what is going to happen. The nurses on are floor are all nice. Are dog is a full blooded lab and my wife was missing are dog so I asked if I could bring her and been bringing her to see her mom. People didn't even know are dog was here and it cheered my wife up seeing her. Until some asshole complained and now my wife can't see her little girl. This place doesn't even deserve one star after what they put my wife though.

LABOR AND DELIVERY
I had an emergency c-section with doctor Jeffery Davis. He was absolutely wonderful and laid back. He made me feel extremely comfortable in a tense situation. The staff in the maternity unit gave me the very best treatment and were among the kindest humans I've ever met. I appreciate the quick actions, advice, and overall help they gave me. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend choosing this facility to deliver your baby!
EDIT TO ADD: Four months after delivery, I found out Doctor David left placenta inside me and I had to get yet another surgery to have it removed. Just be cautious.
