Co-workers and nursing staff are always willing to assist or answer questions to help meet the residents needs. Have been working for the facility for nearly a year and I have enjoyed my time working as a CNA here.

My uncle and a friend have both been staying here for several months. There are a few complaints, but not nearly as bad as other care facilities. The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly.
My uncle has some of his artwork on display inside the dining room.

As many other people leaving reviews advice, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO THIS FACILITY. It has been harrowing and heartbreaking to witness the cruelty and neglect my auntie has endured. As if it isn’t bad enough the facility directors and staff members use questionable tactics to cover up their negligence and mistakes. My poor auntie has endured so many complicated emergency medical interventions as a result of not getting the appropriate and timely care she needed including prolonged and untreated infections, delayed surgeries, skipped meals and no access to bathing or personal hygiene. It has been absolutely devastating to our family and has caused so much grief. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I been at Westview healthcare center since april and my favorite nurse Graciela who I call GG is very professional even when I cross the line. She's amazing with a great heart and unfortunately is leaving Westview soon and I'm sad about it. We need more nurses like her. She should have been the head nurse.

The gardens are lovely. The pt staff has been awesome. Nursing staff has been mostly really good, with a few exceptions. The food was good. Rooms were comfortable, and housekeeping was quick and professional. Call light response times usually 10 to 25 minutes. I have 3 big issues that occurred here. They were not on top of my mom's inr levels, not doing labs as often as we were promised, and had her between 1.6 and 4, she's supposed to be between 2 and 3. There were several times where she was brought the wrong meds, or brought them a full 2 hours early. It was clear that not all the nursing staff were checking their orders at the start of their shift, as when my mom's were changed the nurses continued with the old ones until I confronted them about it. We had a family member with my mom everyday as well, which could colour our experience. So all in not terrible, but I didn't feel great leaving her there either.

Westview Healthcare center is a large facility (approximately 200 beds) that consist of a mix of physical/occupational therapy/post-op rehab, long term stay and hospice. The PT/OT team (Cole, Matt, Mike, Elaine, Todd) is awesome. They helped me get back on my feet, physically stronger and better trained after a leg amputation. The section 4 staffing (Jodi, Bri, Jun, Elise, Destiny, Graciata and Jasmine) CNA/RN/LVN team was great as well. The facility has its own maintenance staff and full kitchen. Food is better than hospital food and you can substitute for a deli sandwich/hamburger/cheeseburger/veggie burger if you don't like the meals that day. Erin and Social services address any issues. Overall a great place - not perfect post covid any skilled nursing has issues - but they fix them QUICKLY and are FRIENDLY team oriented!
