LC of Acton provided exceptional care for my father during the last six months of his life. The staff is incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive, not only to the residents but also to their families.

Throughout his time there, the team treated him with dignity, respect, and genuine warmth, ensuring that he was always comfortable and well cared for. Their attentiveness and thoughtfulness went beyond just meeting his medical needs—they took the time to talk with him, engage with him, and make him feel heard.

End-of-life care is never easy, but the staff at LC of Acton provided such comfort and support, both to my father and to our family. They were compassionate, patient, and understanding, guiding us through difficult moments with empathy and professionalism.

I cannot thank them enough for the kindness and care they showed during my father’s final months. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will receive genuine, heartfelt care, I wholeheartedly recommend LC of Acton. They truly make a difference in the lives of their residents and their families. We will be forever grateful to the LifeCare Plus nurses and caregivers.

As difficult as being in a rehab is, having a staff that helps out a family member is of the utmost importance. Not just help, but constant attention & caring goes a long way. A huge thank you to the rehab floor nurse manager, Jen, and all of her hardworking staff, including the nurses & the aides. To Jillian, and all of her PT & OT professionals. And to Tammy, the centers social worker that was a constant, compassionate resource. Thanks again everyone! We appreciate all of you!

My 91 year-old father was just brought there last night for rehabilitation. I was very happy to see that. The first person that came into the room was the senior Nurse Supervisor Director. She was absolutely pleasant. I knew that she read my father‘s history and she seem to know very much about him that was very reassuring, so it hasn’t been 24 hours yet but so far so good

I appreciate LCA - Grace is always so welcoming and just awesome. I appreciate Leann and conversation with keeping me updated on my mom. I honestly appreciate everyone involved with my mom’s care - Monica for always making sure her hair is taken care of and the other nurses as well. It’s been difficult making the decision for my mom to stay in nursing care because it’s not where any of us especially her would want to be but I at least have peace of mind with your guy’s team and that’s priceless. Thank you for everything, always. Y’all are truly the best. - Evelyn

I’ve had both my parents is a few different rehab facilities. And I have never been able to give a five star review. Everyone who works here goes above and beyond to make the patients comfortable and have their needs met. The food is amazing, the rooms are a great size and cleaning happens a few times a day. But I just can’t say enough about the staff. Jen the unit charge nurse, in particular has helped with scheduling tests and doctor appointments. Even procuring rides to and from appointments. My dad needed to have his room changed due to difficult sleeping conditions. I know this had to be a pain for them, but they said no problem and Jen made it happen quickly. Jen and the rest of the staff are the most dedicated people you could have working with you. If you have a loved one in need of care, this is the place you want them to be. The care and patience is amazing not to mention the great communication , I never felt left out or in the dark about what was going on. The physical therapy he is receiving is working wonders. While I hope we never need services for Dad again, if we do, I hope this is where he can go. Thank you Life care for taking such amazing care of my Dad.

Our grandmother who is in rehab at the facility complained about the quality/unprofessionalism of the staff. She mentioned two us that she had already reviewed 4 tomato based meals even though she has a tomato which they know about. She also told us that a few nights ago her nurses had forgotten to give her her medicine until around midnight where she had tell them what medicine she needed as they had forgotten. The overall vibe of the place was also very depressing. Many of the staff seemed unenergetic/unhappy about their job/working there. A few of the nurses I saw also seemed to have very little patience with their patients and occasionally started yelling at them or talking to them in a demeaning manor. Overall not great.

My grandmother began her stay here on July 9th, and stayed for two weeks. We were extremely pleased with her care, as well as the snacks meals that were provided. The staff was very attentive and caring, and she was able to work with OT and PT. Her care team fulfilled all her needs while there, and she was able to build her confidence, to prepare to go back home.

Jen, RN, is the Nurse Manager of the rehab unit at Lifecare in Acton. She is professional, knowledgeable, well organized and understands all aspects of how her unit runs. She takes much pride in doing a job well done. She has helped me out many times and always takes the time to check in on me. She pitches in with her staff whenever and wherever needed. Jen is a good communicator and very personable, makes all the patients feel comfortable. Jen is the best!

Update 9/22/24: I just spent 3 more weeks as a patient on the Life Care Plus Unit in Acton. The Nurses, CNA's, Therapists (PT and OT) were all very caring, compassionate, helpful and professional in taking care of me. The Nurse Manager, Jen, is excellent at what she does. She is very attentive to the patients. Jen knows about everything that transpires on her unit and takes care of it all. She manages a great unit. Thank you to everyone for taking such good care of me.
