I normally don't do reviews, but after seeing pictures of my uncle in this nursing home. This review is necessary. This place and workers have no regards for people. How could a person with a heart let another human being suffer the way my family member did. After seeing these hurtful pictures that is still playing in my mind, something needs to be done. This was a father, brother, uncle and a person that was loved. Did any one care? Anybody? Please do not send your love one to this facility, this place do not care. If they cared and had a heart, our love one would have had a different outcome.

STAY FAR AWAY from this place. Parking is horrible with a series of potholes entering the facility. The place is rundown, walls raggedy, plaster crumbling in areas... They used old bedding from donations and fitted sheets with micro holes in them like moths were eating in them... Lost all of my loved ones clothing and put too little , unmatched, worn down donated clothes on him instead. The running temps is above 80 degrees due to broken heating which was miserable for loved one. Which caused my loved one to faint and fall on multiple occasions. Not to mention due to slack care with a catheter, my loved one got an infection. My loved one ended up being carried out on a stretcher to the hospital at the tail end of his care here. Although some of the staff is ok the majority is either unskilled or don't care, When you try to get help or understanding, management and social workers are very arrogant, rude, and condescending. I tried calling the head administrator multiple times and never got a response. The director of nursing is cold and arrogant, the head social worker is rude. They will stage meetings with all management like you are in a principal's office to try to force their agenda and make you think you are a fool. The smiles you see on the website is bait to suck you in. Don't fall for it. If you love your loved one.... Stay Away!!!
UPDATE: Since my review I have noticed that they have changed their website with royalty free images to lure you in even more. Someone from their marketing team called me over and over trying to speak with me to get me to remove my review as well as they had someone stalking the hospital looking for the whereabouts of my loved one. THE HEAD ADMINISTRATOR, DIRECTOR, STILL WILL NOT REACH OUT. Which says a lot. They want to milk insurance but not render appropriate care...Question anything and they punish your loved one after you leave. STAY AWAY people...
Loved one died from sepsis from the catheter they let drag the floor, and dehydration from being in the hot bldg with no water to drink. This place needs to be shut down.

I'm only giving one star because there was one nurse that my Dad liked. At the time this horrible place was called Popular Point. My Dad was in this place for a few years; I had him taken out in 2017. Sadly he passed away the same day 30 min to an hour after he was released, cause I don't think he got his meds before he left, because they were pissed I made them get him ready for him to be released. I felt he wasn't getting the right care; I live about 700 miles away, and every time I visited; which was always a pop-up; he was always dirty. He wasn't getting the proper therapy he needed, cause they said he refused, but he always did it for me. I felt that one of the male PT they had at the time was too rough on the patients. He was always getting reimbursed for his clothes, cause they kept giving his clothes to someone else. I guess your wondering why after all these years I'm just writing now; well it's taken this long to wrap my head around everything. I am a strong believer in what goes around comes around. If you love your loved ones; please don't send them there.

My mom had to go to rehab after being discharged from the hospital. Majestic reached out and had an immediate opening. They were very kind to me and really went the extra mile to calm my fears. She started on the first floor and the nurse manager Tasha was very compassionate and empathetic. It was a good experience for such a stressful time. Aftet a few days my mom was moved to the memory care unit under Ursula Martin who is VERY passionate about her residents! She checks in with me EVERY time she sees me. I'm always greeted with a hug and asked if I have any questions. She's very visible to the floor and shows concern for her residents. Love her!

Tonight I visit my grandfather and I must say I was very impressed by nurses and Therapy working so late,I also didn't know that they had a concierge who was walking in the room to put on his name tag.. Ms Sandra was very polite and well dressed. My grandfather said she has been checking on him in the morning and say goodnight before she goes home. That melt my heart The place was clean and the lobby is very nice. My family thank all of the people who are helping him with his recovery.

My grandmother was a patient for 10 months at this facility. I wouldn't recommend this place of care to my worst enemy! Although she was a patient on the Sunflower Unit, the expectations given during the tour included activities and great care for our loved one. Three times that I came to visit, I was stuck on the unit with no staff to buzz me out. One 12/14/22, I was stuck for 10 minutes with the on-duty staff telling me they did not have a badge to let me out and to call the front desk. This was totally unacceptable and left me feeling unsafe. Immediately after complaining about this incident, as well as the rude attitude of the staff member Ursula, we received notice my grandmother had covid and could not visit. We missed Christmas with our loved one which was very painful. Upon returning to her room, my grandmother's clothing and belongings were missing for an entire week. We were told they were being cleaned, but the room looked as if they thought she wasn't returning. Her clothing were stolen, as well as 2 remote controls to her television, and other personal grooming items. The final straw was on July 29, 2023 when we received a call that she was being transported to the emergency room and when I met her there, I found she was sent in nothing but a top and adult diaper. When we moved her out, none of the clothing we provided remained. We left all of the nasty clothing that were in her room and weren't hers there! She is 89 years old! To know the staff didn't care enough to make sure she was properly dressed before sending her out was absolutely unacceptable. The elevator is always broken, so I am not sure how all of the patients would be transported if an emergency occurred, but I am thankful I no longer have to worry about my grandmother being subjected to these unsafe, uncompassionate, filthy and poor conditions as a senior.

I’m very impressed with the improvements that have been made over the last couple of weeks here. The staff are more present; they come to check on me much more often and it’s nice to see them. Nurses too, they keep up with issues I might have. The wound care nurses too. Physical therapy has started back, which I am very excited about, Jamila is the therapist I see the most and she’s very sweet. Sandra and her staff do a great job keeping up with all the supplies we need. She’s so funny and I love when she comes by. I can’t say enough about Quinn at the front desk - she really is a treasure and a great first impression for people coming in or calling. Meechie with Activities is very involved with keeping games and such going. She even makes sure the residents confined to their rooms are happy with her visits. My ONLY complaint is how hard it is to see a doctor of any kind here. I’ve been seen by an eye doctor (even went to a doc off site - I’m going to have cataract surgery in September), podiatrist and psychiatrist but I’m still waiting to be assessed by a dentist, which I REALLY need. It looks like Betty Edwards has made a real difference here and I am very grateful. I hope she stays around! Thank you
