As a resident of this place I don't recommend. They even got all pissy with me when I made my last bad review. The owners don't give a flying f about the patients. The food is horrible on top of that.some workers have been told to be bare minimum with everything. Most of the nurses are actually caring. They are understaffed as well. As far as CNAs and CMAs are concerned. I bet I get pulled into the office for this post. I'm a young stroke survivor and they are slow to getting to the call lights. To the point I've had more than two incidents of embarrassing bathroom accidents in my chair.

They lost my grandpa bible after telling them how important it was..then tried to give us a brand new Bible like we couldn't tell it wasnt 30+ years old and all they can say is sorry..not to mention it smells like urine all through the facility..I came to visit my papa(a couple times) and he was sitting in a wheelchair which is ok but his circulation in his feet was so bad his feet were cold and purple in which I have pictures of..I had to ask for him to be put in a recliner they didn't offer.. for them it's a paycheck..for us they are our FAMILY..

Compared to other facilities I have worked in and visited, I would not recommend this place.

My mother and father was put into here. My mother had to have a trach and this was the closest facility that would accept her. My father tagged along because he didn't want her alone. The facility is outdated. The administrator doesn't seem like he is qualified for the position or he is just lazy. My mother died and so I am moving my father closer to me(he does not require any specialty care). I have spoken with several people in the facility as well as with OKDHS and OKSonnerCare about a form that needs to be filed for him to be moved; and they are absolutely not cooperating. Giving me the run around and making excuses as to why they can't do it or why they haven't yet. Every time it's a different story. I fully understand that it is a process but my dad's move has completely stopped because they will not send this form to dhs. Also, I learned from dhs that they failed to report my mother's death after a month and a half.. sooo...
It's like pulling teeth to get them to answer the phone and even harder to find someone who can actually assist me.
I also learned during the last hospital visit my mom was at, that she had been in and out of the hospital for several months. The hospital had records of 8 visits in 3 months and I only knew about 3. It is not the hospital's job to contact family when the patient is coming from a nursing home. I can't help but think if they "forgot" to contact family when the ambulance had to pick up the patient, than what else do the "forget" to do.

I'm sure everyone there are nice decent humans but the operations/business side is completely failing.
Also, like I said, I've worked in long term nursing homes. Riverside just hands out the door codes to literally anyone. My very first time there to visit my parents, they gave me the two codes to two doors before they even knew why I was there. And at second visit, one of the staff showed me where they keep the door codes in case I ever forget. I live 4 hours away so I have only physically been to the facility 4 times and within the first two visits I had the codes to every entrance/exit.

Overall, I feel like they are unorganized, very possibly understaffed (which I get it, I've worked in a nursing home before) but the people who should be calling the shots, and have answers to questions, and just overall being corporative are either clueless or lazy. I have tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but my parents have been there for almost two years and with every interaction, I dislike the facility a little more.

My baby girl has been there for some years now and something is surely wrong there especially at night with nurses because I am back at the hospital because someone at night are not doing their job. Today she is dehydrated and her heart up in the 178. I will be reporting this to the Long Term Investigation By Bud Smitson, and DHS.

I cannot say enough about Riverside nursing home . It is the best place I was not there but my husband was there and he was there almost 4 months. I could not ask for better people to take care of someone to love him to baby him to pamper him he has so well been taken care of it's a small place but it is a loving place. The physical therapist ,Steven,, truly works hard to get the patient back on his/her feet. The respirtory therapists, Kayla,, was an angel getting him off of vent and sizing down the trach he had. Over all I give Riverside a 10 in rating. All the nurses and cna really spoiled him and babied him.. We are so thankful he went to Riverside nursing home and I highly recommend it to all or anyone needing to come off of ventilator or just looking for a great nursing home

My mother been there 5yrs on a vent . they have been working with her and today sheis breathing on her own 5-6 hrs day. and getting speeking vave soon.
The staff are one of kind , I never would beleave the 1on 1 and cloceness with the resadence.If you needing somewhere for a loved one look no farther. I'm 100% happy with way they show careing and respect of my mother.

Trash place. Abusing my bedridden cousin! This place should be closed down and each resident should be removed to a better home!! Where do they find these people who work there? If you don’t love your job in healthcare QUIT!!

This place is horrible, its a joke really. staff does not care about residents, just that pay check. i have sen many staff be rude and uncaring towards residents.
