Most of the staff members were good. All food is delicious and people are kind. My only piece of advice is if you are staying at the rehab make sure the cot is fixed correctly.I stayed with my grandmother so she wouldn't be alone and the cot fell more often than not. When you first get here they don't give you a a bath because they have to evaluate you and make sure they have a list of meds you can and cannot take. And they have a correct order on when you take your medicine.

Like everyone else I wish I could not even leave one star. My grandmother was transferred here from Providence Hospital for rehab after a fall. They immediately started working on my mom, telling her that my grandmother needed full time care and could not do anything for herself. They only did rehab with her for one week which consisted of about 10 min per day. The social worker was very high pressure and told my mom that if my grandmother went back to her assisted living and could not stay there that they would not have room and would not be able to accept her. As soon as my mom agreed to admit her full-time the nightmare started. They refused to let my grandmother go to the dining room and wanted all her meals delivered to her. When they were delivered the food was cold and they refused to heat it up. She basically was in a box of a room with barely enough room for a bed and a chair. She wasn’t allowed to bring any personal items. The staff was rude and condescending. They care absolutely ZERO about their patients. After a week my mother told them she was taking my grandmother out. The social worker tried to make excuses and convince her to stay. My mother insisted and was able to return my grandmother to her assisted living facility. She is thriving being back in her normal environment and certainly does not need hospice care. Do not ever leave your loved ones here. The prices are astronomical, the care is non-existent. It is basically a place to wait to die.

My family member went here for rehab. I will never recommend this place. He was transferred from the hospital straight to Crowne. He hadn't had a shower in days and asked them to help him get one. They never came. They kept telling him "We will take care of it soon" but they never did.

They also told him to go on himself since he was wearing a diaper when he told them he needed help getting to the toilet. They left him in a wheelchair all day because they didn't come make up his bed and he already had swelling in his legs.

They wouldn't let him leave his room just to get across the hall to the windows to look out.

They also told me when I went to talk to someone that they were short staffed and would get to him when they had a chance... there were 3 nurses sitting in the dining area playing on their phones! I talked to the Head Nurse and she said they were not short staffed. HOWEVER they still didn't come take care of him.
I sat there for 3 hours waiting for them to come give him a shower and saw HIS NURSE (the one that told me they were short staffed and to have some patience) sitting and playing on her phone for an HOUR!

They canceled his doctors appointments and didn't tell us why.

This place was horrible and one star is not even low enough. These people do not care about their patients. And that is so sad! Yes, they are elderly and disabled, but they lived a life just like we did and deserve the treatment they are paying to be there for.
Just have some human decency. Please.

A family member was treated at this rehabilitation facility in a manner unfit for criminals.

I witnessed a staff member shake the patients medicine in his face while saying nothing other than stating the diagnosis which required the medication. It was as if the employee was incapable of engaging in any form of intelligent communication or of utilizing appropriate bed side manners. In simpler terms, she was just plain rude.

I was convinced this facility was attempting to employ a mideval and grotesque form of euthanasia as they continously served the patient meals which his diet forbids him from eating, despite his meal request form specifically stating which foods he may or may not consume. Either the staff intentionally attempted to bring harm to the patient or they are illiterate, lazy, and apathetic.

The patient was denied assistance in personal matters such as utilizing the latrine. When help was requested, the staff pointed to the device they delivered and said "there it is" and promptly left the room with no concern for the patient who needed assistance with mobility.

My message to management: Shame on you for your apparent lack of oversight concerning the personnel you have employed at this facility.

My message to the Staff: Shame on you for how you treated this patient and probably many others like him. I hope you or your loved ones never have to be treated they way YOU treated my family member.

My WARNING to patients and family members: Do not, under any circumstances, allow your loved one to be admitted to this facility unless absolutely necessary. Should your loved one be admitted, do not leave them alone for any length of time.

Not all of the staff we dealt with were mean, rude, apathetic, or obviously in the wrong industry, but the ones who were stood out the most.

My mother-in-law was at this facility after a hospital stay from 5/29/19-6/18/19. She had excellent care from the entire nursing staff. I went by every day, so I met a number of her caregivers and all were patient, caring, helpful. Case manager was outstanding. Admission and discharge was easy. No complaints. Thank you to the entire staff!

Horrible! just plan Horrible! Bedsores on my love one, that they didn't want to tell us about until I was them! They hide and cover up things and they are always under staff, the workers tell it. But the powers that be, always say they aren't.
