Avoid this place!The absolute worst hospital I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. I went in for three blood tests. They only managed to do two. Now I have to go again. My wife recently went in for stomach gastric pain and they gave her a vaginal ultrasound! Last summer my wife went in for a suspected miscarriage. The doctor couldn't even figure out how to use the antiquated ultrasound equipment. Also, he never even checked my wife's blood pressure, which we've since learned is a critical first step with suspected miscarriage. Uncommunicative, Apathetic, lazy, incompetent, rude, unfriendly, cold. These are the words I would use to describe the attitude of most employees here (except the front desk lady, she was nice).

Went in Saturday with my daughter in law for a possible miscarriage. The doctor told her to come back Monday to retest her levels. Drove all the way in for the 2 staff members to be completely rude from the moment we walked in. She was scheduled to return on the paperwork they had, but no order for lab could be found. So they said she would have to be seen as a walk in again. Ok, we can do that. So the 2 ladies stood there talking crap about her for returning (she was told to do so) right in front of her. It was to the point, I told one of them to be helpful, not rude. Yet, they still sat there being rude like we were bothering them. (Btw, we were the ONLY ones there at the moment so it was not like they were busy) Will not return to this one.

My 8years old daughter had a fever last night and her temperature was 102°f. Her skin rashes all over her body. We rushed to the ER to get the doctor's help from 20 miles away. We arrived at 6:20 pm and done the registration at 6:30pm. We wait until 9:40pm but we were not called to see the doctor, then we left without any help. We barely sleep the night because of her skin rash itching. So sad..

REVIEW UPDATE: Mercy hospital social media team kindly reached out to me, so I thought we'd finally get somewhere with this. NOPE. After days of emailing back and forth, they finally came to the conclusion they can't help me and to work with the billing company. I HAVE been working with the billing company, YOU'RE the one that told me to reach out to YOU and try this other path. MORE time of mine wasted! Just unbelievably incompetent. I don't blame the people just doing their job, the whole system is flawed and good luck actually getting healthier when the stress of dealing with them gives you more health complications than you started with!

Never been to Arkansas, much less Waldron, so I was surprised to see an email about my visit to this location. It took about 2 hours and 5 phone call attempts to finally get someone to connect me to billing. They said the nurse put in the wrong name and they were already on it. I kindly said “mistakes happen, thank you for the help.”

Another fun surprise appeared in the mail months later for $608. They did the leg work to hunt down my new address from a recent move, but still didn’t notice the chart said “patient is female” and my file says correctly I’m a male ?

Guess the hospital wasn’t as “on it” as they stated. On the outside looking in, this staff doesn’t appear very competent but you may get free services considering they still haven’t billed the person that actually saw them. Weigh those pros and cons when it comes to your health.

Crazy if I wasn’t on top of it my credit could plummet. Some system we live in….

I had a CT scan done at Mercy Waldron. When I went to see the surgeon in Little Rock, he discovered someone elses CT scan was on my disc!This is a HIPPA violation as well as potentially causing a serious error in my care.

Staff in Physical Therapy are the best. Caring, kind, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Will work with you on scheduling. Also had blood drawn twice. Can't tell you how impressed I was that on both occasions they got me on the first stick. I'm a very hard stick. I haven't experienced in patient care.
