Prescott is incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and skilled group of therapists. I wanted to share my exceptional experience with Justin McKinney, who demonstrated remarkable expertise in resolving my chronic back issues.

After experiencing intense abdominal and back pain that was severe enough to require two emergency room visits, I was left without answers. The ER doctors classified my pain as idiopathic (of unknown origin), which was both frustrating and concerning.
However, everything changed when I started treatment with Justin. He was able to accurately identify the root cause of my pain, develop an effective treatment plan, and completely resolve my symptoms within just a couple of sessions

Backways Physical Therapy is terrific. What makes that office terrific? The office staff is friendly, helpful and they take care of business promptly and correctly. The Physical Therapists I've had the good fortune to work with prior and post surgeries for knees & and a hip have been great as well. They know the body, they know how to do body work which holds hands with the work they teach you to do with regard to exercises to keep the healing and strengthening going and come out the other side smiling and comfortable in your body.

I was injuring myself doing regular daily activities. I did less for fear of injuring myself. Loosing strength and functionality by doing less. I tried various treatments without any real or lasting progress and I has still injuring myself. A one size fits all approach was not working for me.

On my first visit with Justin, he did a thorough assessment of my body and made one adjustment. My body responded immediately and I was walking with greater ease. The adjustment held. We also needed to stabilize and begin strengthen my body. Which was exactly what I was looking for. Justin’s approach is designed for your body's needs. We started with core exercises. However, Justin’s approach to strengthening the core correctly was key. Justin breaks down doing core exercises into smaller steps. Which at 70 is where I needed to begin.

I would highly recommend Justin no matter where you are in your journey for an active healthy life style.

Looking for a physical therapy practice in downtown Prescott? You won’t find a better one than Backway’s Physical Therapy! For the past six years, I have seen Dr. Andrew Stickel who has helped me navigate through a full knee replacement and an array of other injuries. Andrew’s spectrum of treatment has ranged from manual therapy, balance, gait training to dry needling, cupping and teaching me numerous exercises to help healing. Andrew‘s vast knowledge of the body, his personality and his skills put him in a category above the rest! Simply put, he is the best and he is the only Physical Therapist I will go to! Backway’s Physical Therapy is a 10 out of 10!

Justin has helped me with several of my physical ailments (back pain, shoulder pain, foot pain). I spent years trying different doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors and pain management. None of them helped. But after only a few visits, Justin worked absolute miracles and helped me live my life with much less pain. Aside from the results, he is a great practitioner. Marty is a very knowledgeable physical therapist and has helped me immensely. She and everyone at Backway’s has been very pleasant and helpful. Kayla and Andrew have helped my right arm to not only get strong, but Kayla used tape on my back to get the back to work with my arm while in motion. Andrew used many different techniques to massage and allow the muscles to relax and work. Thank you for such wonderful folks in healing me.
