How is it that dentists could fix a broken tooth 40 years ago and have it last decades but these dentists can't get it to last a few months?!? They tell you they can fix a chipped tooth only to have it chip even more than it was originally. The staff are pretty nice usually but the actual dentists should've retired before the age of 70. Save your time and sanity and find someone who can actually do the job right the first time instead of having to return multiple times only to end up worse than you were before you made the appointment.

Horrible! I had an appointment for my son twice and they cancelled both times!!! Had my son taking antibiotics to get a tooth taken out and they couldn't even keep the appointment! Ridiculous!! They seem clueless and sometimes incompetent. You call and can't even get connected to someone in the office. They have to call you back. Honestly I think the whole reason my son needs his tooth pulled is because of them. The filling they did came out with more of the tooth causing damage! I'm not the only one with these complaints either. I think they should be shut down

Overall visit was very good. All staff were friendly. Office is kept very clean and neat. The staff is good with kids and very upfront about what needs done. Lots of parking and easy access. Patients where moved threw pretty quickly. Might ask what door to use and where the office is located inside.
Probably would have rated them five stars if there was not one paper to fill out for cancellations. There is a $50.00 fee if a 24 hours notice is not given.
Twice my appointment was canceled within a few hours from the time my appointment was scheduled. Thus, loosing me two days of work and having to reschedule another appointment.

I live the staff, they are warm and friendly. Dr Balu has done his best and still is in saving my teeth for me, getting root canals and caps is in the very soon future, I have just dealing with infection, trust me, he has wrote me more then antibiotics for me even though it’s due to a sinus and head issue. He Is Gentle and Caring, remembers his patients, I couldn’t imagine seeing someone different!

The staff is always helpful and nice. Most of the dentist there are professionals and try to help. Dr. Weibel or however you spell it should retire. He's very rude doesn't care how you feel about anything he tells you what he wants to do and that's it. I never had a problem before usually I just do what they say. But I received partials right before covid. So I couldn't go back to have them adjusted. They didn't fit right at all so I couldn't wear them. I went in today and he blamed me for them and was very rude. I will not be going back. But like I said in the beginning the rest of the staff is very nice and tries to work with you and help with whatever you nee, That's why I gave 3 stars.

Horrible!! I had my teeth out in November here it is February I paid for tranitional teeth in December never received them. They do not get back in touch when you call. Then they did call and told me the lab fee went up they want another $100 for something I don't even have. So I had to go back in and tell them to refund my card the lady has been nothing but nasty with me. I asked when I'd get my permanent teeth said another couple of months. The lab called them and wanted to know why I wasn't fitted for my impressions until after my teeth were cut out they called and asked me like jokingly laughing about it. I told them I listened to what they told me to do. I'm fed up going somewhere else. This place is a JOKE!!! I hope if you're trying to find a dentist that you read these reviews first and save your time and money and go somewhere else!!! My wouldn't have even given them a 1 star rating but that's the only way I could say how that are.

Love, love, love, Dr. Balu and assistant Lou!! Amazing, friendly and genuinely care (bc I def have anxiety at the dentist) Always checking to be sure I’m okay and don’t need a minute break. During the pandemic I was going to Aspen Dental. I broke a tooth that was rubbing against my tongue very badly and very painful. After a few days trying to get someone at Aspen to answer or even return a call, I started trying other places. Laurel Highlands Family Dentistry was one of those places. Without hesitation, I had an appointment the next day! And have been going there every since!! I have had all my top teeth pulled and now have a denture on the top, and have some work needing done on the bottom. Needless to say I have (almost) gotten over my anxiety of the dentist, and it’s thanks to Dr Balu and Lou!!! Thank you!!!

Awful customer service. Came in for a cleaning 2 months ago and was told they would be submitting to my insurance for pre authorization of more work that needed done. I waited 2 months, knowing that preauthorizarions never take this long. Finally called and the woman said that it won't be approved by my insurance anyways. I said that's not what I was told, can you please check to see if it was submitted yet. Finally after arguing, she told me that she can't check because I didn't even give her my name. I had no chance to give my name because she immediately told me it wouldn't be approved and she wouldnt check! Finally she agreed to look, and said that it was submitted to my insurance, but would not provide a date that it was sent over. I then called my insurance to verify, and they have no record of any pre authorizations ever being sent from their dental office. The woman tried to tell me it will take her a week to send the pre authorization over because they are backed up. I asked her to please prioritize this matter, as I've waited 2 months already and I need this dental work done asap. She said they won't approve it anyways, but she can't send it until the end of the week. I then asked to speak to somebody above her, and she said there is nobody higher than her. Claims to be the "office manager". She was extremely rude, and if they are that backed up then they should say so in the beginning. Now I have to wait until I can go for another cleaning in 6 months to a different dentist, when I actually need work done now. You are providing a much needed service to your customers, and if you aren't able to provide that service to them in a timely manner and with honesty when issues arise, then maybe you should not be in business.
