We just went to visit this place. I feel bad saying this but we should have walked out the moment we walked in. It smelled like human feces. We were then quickly shown the rooms that contained the rehab room, lunch, activities. It was poorly maintained and not a pleasant place to enjoy your remaining years. It was very sad. I don’t know how these facilities get away with not creating a pleasant environment for their tenants. I understand. It’s a nursing home. But not a prison. That’s what it looked like. The staff were friendly enough, waived and said hello. We were then chatted to about the cost. In the first month, $300+ per day. Then in the next 60 days it’s $500+ per day. That’s close to 40K for 3 months of being there before Medicaid kicks in. Is that insane?!?! And this place looks like charity supports them. Where is all the funds they receive from these people? It makes, absolutely no sense to me. I also understand there are staff to pay and facility needs. But seriously the bare minimum is put into this facility. It was very difficult to swallow. I couldn’t believe the sad disposition of this place. Like a hospital prison. That’s how I describe it. Never in my life have I felt the need to really talk to superiors about the place they supposedly care for.. that was just very unfortunate. It’s also just sad about the tiny space these poor individuals live in with no thought to really creating a bit of a better environment for them in their last years of life. Only one person gets the window in a room if shared. Why not split it in half so both residents can enjoy a glimmer of the outside world.. and a real wall between or a sliding wall A bit sterdier Dignity for the individuals there. It’s like they are tossed in because that’s all that is affordable. I’m so disappointed and disgusted with society and greed. Could effort be used to make this a better place I hope so, I hope this reaches the so called important people to make changes. Put in some effort, would they live like that? Could they handle their own facility if they were in there as an older one? I know I couldn’t. I was just in shock.

The staff here took wonderful care of my father through his passing. They all told me they loved him so much, and I could tell he was being treated with dignity and respect. It was always clean, and someone came to help if there was ever an issue with his comfort. They were gentle & loving to my Dad, and to his friends & family. Thank you for taking care of my Dad 💔

Well we recently visited Quakertown center to see if it would fit the needs for a loved one for long term care. We were highly impressed with this facility. We were welcomed by the very pleasant Sueamy, it was a very organized, friendly and welcoming community nursing home that we think will suit our loved one perfectly. We are in the process of getting what needs to be done for admission if Quakertown will accept her we will be so very relieved and happy that our search will be over. It seems like from what we see and were told that she will get the care she needs with excellent drs and nursing there which is very important to us . Again a very clean impressive place. Wish us luck 🍀

The Quakertown center, has an amazing and very friendly atmosphere. the receptionist, the nurses, and the administration team are all kind, caring, and very respectful. The resident are the most sweetest, and loving people that I have had the pleasure to encounter with. My Dad has been a resident there for a couple of months now, he was taken there right after his hip replacement surgery. And thanks to the awesome!! caring, and dedicated therapist team, that works at genesis my dads recuperation was a huge success!! better then we could had ever expected., and also in a timely matter!! My dad has no complaints about the place, he truly likes it there. He is constantly telling me that he is very much liked, and treated with courtesy, and respect. His favorite saying is that he is treated like a king!! I for one am very grateful, and thankful for the care that my Dad, has gotten, and still gets from the Quakertown center/ genesis..

I transferred my mom to QTC two weeks ago from another facility that went down hill. The staff have been wonderful and each one nicer than the last I meet. I was amazed at how many staff there are and my mom is very happy there. The care is excellent, her room is lovely, the food is good we could not be happier. A very warm and caring atmosphere from the time you enter the building.

My dad broke his femur. He was transported from Grand View to Genesis to be closer to home. Since arriving @ Genesis, he had a roommate who complained about not having his meds and he was a heart patient. He was looking for attention by pressing the call bell to get help going to the bathroom and was met with a ghost staff. He ended up leaving in the middle of the night with his family's help. My father stayed for one day and noticed the bathroom had no safety railing. (which is necessary with a broken femur) He asked for a walker and was told that only therapy can issue walkers. My father has diabetes and hasn't had his glucose checked once. The food they serve is carb heavy and does not have diabetic patients in mind. (Grand view was checking his BP and his glucose 4 times a day)
This all transpired on Friday night and Saturday. I don't know what the weekday staff is like but, you will have no help/attention from the weekend/B team. They seem understaffed and just going through the motions.

Would not recommend this place.

We were greeted at the desk, helped with visitation check in, and given directions to the room we were visiting. The friend we were visiting was content, and said a couple of times that the food served is good. No complaints!
