The staff is great, but sadly Dr Handelsman seems money hungry. Poor bedside manner, and wouldn’t listen to my needs. I stuck with him for over 3 years to see if things got better and I will no longer be seeing him. Do yourself a favor and stay away from him and probably this practice…

I have been a patient at this practice for several years and have never had an issue. My PCP is Dr. Rao but I've also been seen for sick visits by Dr. Handelsman and Rothschild. My adult son decided to choose Dr. Rothschild as his PCP. We've always been treated with respect and have been given appointments in a timely fashion. I called this morning for a sick visit and they fit me in this afternoon. The practice is affiliated with a teaching hospital so expect students to be involved in your appointments sometimes. I highly recommend this practice.

No comment. Just horrible. Went once or twice in the past and quit going because one of the doctors berated me over my health issues then had the nerve to send me the bill for the insurance copay. I didn’t go there to be abused so I’ll never pay ever. It’s been a decade and they are still trying to bill me LOL. Now my bf goes to see some young doctor there that drives a sports car and tells him what made up symptoms do you have today? They should all lose their doctors liscense. Call the medical board and your health insurance providers and complain so they drop this practice. What horrible doctors. You might as well be going to see the devil in hell.

I saw two Doctors here at different times. One charged me for a cortisone shot she never did and snarky. The next one came in with a very bad attitude and took it out on me. Told me I was wasting tax payers money when I asked for a reference to get a endoscopy as I was having stomach pains. I am a tax payer and pay for my own insurance, so not sure what he was implying. Also wears flip flops which is so not professional. Never going back there again, waste of time

I've been with doctor Handlesman pretty much my whole life. He is the best most thorough doctor that anybody would ever have. He takes time he listens to you And doesn't just rush you through! I wouldn't go to anybody else!

Went there with an issue, not just a yearly check up. Doctor rushed to send me to get blood work that he didn't want to test for many things because he didn't think I could afford it, which is weird because it was all cover by my insurance. He kept repeating that I'm all good and don't have to come back for another year, even though I was being sent for blood work. After my results came back they called me to say "you're all good, that's all" and never wanted a follow up to find out what the issue could be. Then they charged my insurance for a 15 min depression consultation, I guess asking "have you been feeling depressed" is an extra $40 charge and considered 15 minutes. Also the walls are paper thin, I heard another patients whole medical marijuana consultation which should break HIPAA laws. I wont be going back.

My husband and I have been going here for years. The doctors are helpful and understanding. They have multiple days of evening hours during the week. Parking on site. And I have always been seen quickly upon arriving. We liked them so much that my mother in law changed her PCP to their office.

Let me start off by saying I did not even stay long enough to be examined by Dr Handelsman. As soon as the doctor entered my exam room he looked at me in such a way that gave the impression that he was simply aggravated at my presence. He immediately took a nasty tone of voice with as he asked "watsup with me" He was very dismissive as I tried to articulate my ailments to him. He then proceeded to ask me if I was vaccinated and if I was planning to be. When I answered that I was not and did not plan to be because of my personal beliefs his voice then took an even more agitated tone. As he continued to try to explain that the vaccine was very safe and I that i was a health risks to others I interjected his comments at which point he looked up and blatantly shouted in my face "are you going to let me finish!" His only objective seemed to be to push the covid vaccine on me as he totally disregarded any of my true symptoms. With no further inquiry into why I was visiting the office he got up, told me to remove my socks,shirt and shorts and stormed out of the room. At that point I simply got up, left the room and explained to the receptionist why i would not be staying to be examined by Dr Handelsman. This man extremely exceeded bad bedside manner, he was unbelievably ignorant, rude and condescending. I have never in my life been treated so poorly or with such disrespect by any supposed professional, especially a medical professional. Dr Handelsman is very apparantly not even qualified enough to work with animals let alone provide medical attention to human beings and God forbid somebody's children. This was by far the worst experience I have had in any regards for as long as I can recall. If I could have given Dr Gordon L Handelsmans practice a negative amount of stars I would have in an instant. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this doctor's practice all together. And just for the record I dont post many reviews but in this case I felt extremely compelled to share my experience in the hope of sparing any other person's a similar experience to the one I just had with Dr Handelsman.
