It only takes a second to make a difference in someone's life and I can tell you from experience Hospice of the Hills can make that difference. I have lost both of my parents just a year apart from one another. Both were under the care of Hospice of the hills. I would not have wanted it any other way. The compassion and the care shown by everyone was amazing. They truly make you feel like they are family to you and your loved one who is under their care.

My father fought cancer, and we resisted taking him to a facility. However, we were relieved from the first day we arrived. He was treated with such dignity and respect. The nurses were so kind and were always available to answer questions and help. They helped guide us through very difficult decisions and were a deep source of comfort. Our family was able to gather in the living room as we sought to spend each last moment with our father. Those from out of town were able to stay in the Guest Rooms.

Our Mother was cold and had changed colors we called them, the first call they said give her more morphine the second time we called they said put a big magnet on her pacemaker to get it to quit. After two days of calling them we called another hospice provider and they sent a nurse over within the hour. We are devastated and hurt we should have never went through the mental and emotional trauma that Hospice of the Hills put us through.

Our family was deeply blessed by Hospice of the Hills' care, compassion, experience and wisdom.

Yes, the death of a loved one is excruciatingly, but the staff made it less bad by providing a peaceful, hospitable environment that accommodated a lot of family members as we celebrated a life well lived and grieved our (temporary, until we are back together with Jesus) impending loss.

I've heard the hurt-people hurt people, and that's the only thing I can imagine from the negative review I see, here.

My father had advanced cancer when he arrived at the Hospics of the Hills house. He eventually passed away.

The doctor, counselor, nurses, and volunteers were all terrific. They treated us well and really cared about my father and our entire family.

The hospice house has a kitchen and big living room where the family can hang out, watch TV, and try to cope with the stress.

I don't know what we would have done without help from the hospice house.

Our experience was in early 2008.

Awful company with selfish workers and terrible bedside manner. They made a hard time in our lives much harder with their callousness and lack of care. Don’t go with this hospice for your loved ones
