Moving my mother farther away from us was an incredibly difficult decision, but it was necessary to ensure she had the quality of life and care she deserves. The staff at Hampton Place are caring, attentive, and communicative. The facility itself is beautiful, and you never have to worry about your loved one being placed with another resident. (Each resident enjoys a private room with a large, wheelchair-accessible bathroom.)

My mother's quality of care has significantly improved since moving here, with meticulous attention to her bathing, oral health, and engagement in various programs. The staff respects each resident's choices, allowing them to opt-out of activities if they prefer. My mother particularly enjoys having a variety of lunch and dinner options. Having choices helps empower those that have lost so much.

We are all immensely relieved and grateful to know she is safe and well cared for in her new home. I can't say enough about how happy we all are with her new living situation.

My grandpa is here and every time I visit everyone is so nice and welcoming. They know who he is and create nice events for the families of the people here. Overall his state has improved since staying here!

I cannot say enough about this facility. Every place has its pros and cons but this facility makes you feel home. It doesn’t matter if you are resident or staff, we are a family. The residents and staff are treated with the utmost respect. Management works together as a team to fix any issue brought to their attention no matter how small. Our core staff works hard every day to provide the best care possible to our residents. We appreciate all of the families that trust us with their loved ones. I’m glad to be a small part of such an amazing facility (family). Blessed and thankful ❤️

RESCUE MEDIC

It's a nice facility, but the staffing ratio is low and there is a lot of turnover, so the CNAs are struggling to take care of everybody and the nurses are struggling to pass medication. You're better off if you can put your loved one in an assisted living facility; they are much better.

Where to start…my loved one was here for a few weeks as they recovered from a procedure and broken bone. Things were okay for the first few days, and then my family member took a turn. They seemed heavily drugged, couldn’t even spoon themselves food without falling asleep. They couldn’t hold a convo. Their ability to walk and do their usual tasks slowly started to dwindle. Come to find out, they were being given one of their meds at 3x times the prescribed dose. My loved one was having accidents because of how medicated they were and one staff member gave them a hard time about it. My family found my loved one naked on the ground on multiple different occasions. We asked the facility to come take my family member to the cafeteria for each meal to ensure that they ate and it took us asking 4 separate times over the course of multiple days to make that happen. We had some concerns about medication dosage and possible injuries from multiple falls and asked to see the doctor on rotation. We were told for multiple days that a doctor “would swing by today” and it never happened. We hit a breaking point and took my loved one somewhere else. The turnaround since making this decision is crazy. My loved one is now as normal as ever and is being discharged to go home in a few days. I don’t see how my loved one could’ve recovered at Hamptons. I would reconsider before sending someone here.
