This review is SPECIFICALLY for Denise Meli. She is the best PCP I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going to her for a couple of years now and she has been amazing since the beginning. She really truly cares about her patients and shows it through her communication. She validates your feelings and comes up with a care plan taking into consideration your concerns whether it’s a physical or mental issue. You can tell she has a passion for helping people unlike other healthcare professionals who are just trying to get you in and out of the office. I don’t know what I’d do without her as my physician, HIGHLY recommend HER at this practice.

Colonial Family Practice and especially Dr. Vadher are excellent. We have been going to Colonial Family Practice for over 50 years. My wife and I both go to Dr Vadher and have used her for many years. Our daughters are also patients of Dr Vadher. If you are looking for an excellent family or general practitioner and live in the Coatesville, Downingtown, Exton, Parkesburg and Sadsburyville area you should definitely contact them. They are conveniently located on Reeceville Road just off the bypass.

Our family has been going to Colonial Family Practice for a long time and even though I don't have to go to the doctor very often each time I've gone I thought they were very good. They save some appointments each day for same day visits and you can readily get a nurse on the phone. Each of the doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and admin people I've interacted in have been great.

Overall, I have been dismissed and discarded as a patient here and I have received no personalized care.
My first appointment here was one year ago with a Doctor who is no longer at the practice. This doctor called me quite literally one hour prior to my scheduled appointment and attempted to triage me over the phone, and then told me she was too busy and overbooked to see me that day , and she didn’t have time for me.
I was rescheduled with Dr. Nikas, who sent me for bloodwork. After discussing my bloodwork results on the phone, she said she was going to be mailing further lab orders to my home and following up for further tests. After two weeks I still never received anything in the mail so I called and left a voicemail for her. I never received any kind of response; also, Dr. Nikas never followed up with me either. I was completely forgotten about.
Now, I had a new appointment scheduled for today. I made this appointment over a month ago. I received a phone call last night telling me that my appointment had to be canceled because Dr. Nikas was no longer available.
I do not feel cared for, thought about, or prioritized as a patient in any way, shape, or form after giving this practice several tries to redeem itself.
I will not be returning and I would not recommend this practice.

From the moment Dr. Uhler walked into the room I was waiting in, it was honestly a completely bad experience. Very rood and unprofessional. Never greeted me. Would communicate in a very curt, short, and rude way as if he didn’t want to treat me or help me. Almost acted as if he did not want to be there and looked disgusted from the moment he walked in. That also carried throughout the duration of my visit with him. I DO NOT recommend DR. UHLER!

I relocated to PA recently, and had to re-establish a completely new team of caretakers.
Upon entering the office I felt very comfortable. I was greeted by friendly staff members and didn't feel overwhelmed or anxious. I then was greeted by a med tech who had a beautiful disposition and was clearly in the right profession. She made my experience less stressful and my anxiety was nearly non-existent.
I was seen by Michael Burns CRNP, whom is intellectually gifted! He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable in the field of medicine. His demeanor and bedside manner are exemplary, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone searching for a very laid back and professional practice.

I have previously always had great visits here.. but about two months ago I had a scheduled follow up with Dr. Kumanova, and after waiting nearly 30 minutes in the lobby I was finally taken by a nurse to the exam room. I left work in the middle of the day for what was supposed to be a very quick follow up appointment.. so after waiting another 20 minutes in the exam room, I left. Fast forward to earlier this month, I went to the Downingtown location for their walk in hours on Sunday. I sat for nearly an hour waiting to be checked in, and after watching them check in nearly a dozen patients that came in after me, I went to inquire about my wait time. It turns out they had accidentally crossed out my name while checking in the person before me. Okay, no problem, mistakes happen. I’m just happy to be seen because I’m in a lot of pain from what I believe to be probably a sinus infection and at least one ear infection… so I’m waiting, watching all of these patients that came in after me get taken back.. and then the power goes at. At this point I’ve been waiting roughly two hours. They finally call me back, the doctor seeing me does the best she can given the situation, and says she will call in a ten day dose of antibiotics. I leave, wait for the rx which the doctor said she would send to my pharmacy.. nothing. It was never called in. I called and left a message for a nurse to return my call at my regular office in Coatesville on both Monday and Tuesday, and never received a call back. This morning I got a text to pay my bill.. I think not.

I haven't been to the doctor in a few years, now they say that I can't use them anymore because I would be a new patient. I pay for every visit because I do not have insurance. I guess they figure if they can't over bill an insurance company, I am not worth seeing. I don't give them enough money every year to make me worth being a patient.
