Dr. Herring is a rare gem in today’s healthcare system. In a world where medicine is too often driven by profit margins and rushed appointments, Dr. Herring stands out as someone who genuinely puts the patient before the paycheck. From the moment I walked into his urgent care clinic, I felt seen, heard, and cared for.

He took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing me out the door. He explained everything clearly, never pushing unnecessary tests or prescriptions—just honest, thoughtful care. It’s refreshing (and unfortunately, uncommon) to meet a doctor who still sees medicine as a calling rather than a business.

Dr. Herring’s approach is exactly what’s missing from mainstream American healthcare. He brings a level of compassion and integrity that restores your faith in the system. I can’t recommend him enough.

It was my first time coming here. I’m new to the area and I was in a ton of pain. The receptionist was very nice. I didn’t wait long. The nurses were so kind and friendly. The dr was amazing. The nurses were amazing. I’ve never been to an urgent care where I didn’t have any complaints.

Needed to get an abscess drained so did some research and decided on A-Z urgent care based on reviews I saw. The front desk was super kind and welcoming making the visit more pleasant. After a long wait I was seen by the nurse to determine treatment and Dr. Herring did the procedure. He made a very uncomfortable procedure more comfortable and quick. Much thanks to everyone at A-Z who made a last minute change of plans to a holiday trip more pleasant and would highly recommend this urgent care.

Could not recommend this urgent care any more. Dr. Gary Herring is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell his career is his passion. I am an overthinker, so I ask many questions and he answered all of them and more. Many doctors will rush you out of their office but Dr. Herring is very thorough with his explanations and you can tell he deeply cares about his patients. This is the most satisfied I’ve ever been with a doctor’s visit.

I just want to share how absolutely amazing the staff and Dr's are . My husband was there yesterday and so was my daughter they both had small emergencies. My daughter had to go back today unexpectedly. The staff was soo nice and accommodating. Our Community is so blessed to have such a wonderful caring place to go to.
