When I came to Alaska in 1984, I had to leave my EAR doctor from the Cleveland Clinic who treated me since I was 3 years old..I have chronic external otitis that reoccurs every 3 to 6 weeks with a bug that is resistant to most known antibiotics.. I was referred to Dr. Zirul through Dr Mersol in Cleveland. His reputation is well known outside of Alaska. He continued the treatment I was receiving at the Cleveland Clinic that has allowed me to continue living life to the fullest extent. I can't thank Dr. Zirul enough for being there when I needed him the most. He is a professional's professional.

Dr. Zirul and his staff at the surgery center are absolutely amazing! After months of not sleeping and dealing with chronic ear infections, my 10 month old was referred to Dr. Zirul for ear tubes. Not a single antibiotic worked for this kid. When I called the office they said it would be a two month wait because the doctor was heading out of town. I told them my story and they called back and we’re able to fit me in the next morning. We where in surgery the following day. I also had my 4 year old with me. He ended up having a tummy bug the morning of the surgery, of course dad was working up on the slope and I had no other options except to bring him along. They gave both my boys a covid test and thankfully they were negative. I was In tears thinking they wouldn’t be able to do the surgery for two months because my 4 year old was sick. Thankfully they took us to our very own room and allowed us to still have the surgery in a controlled sterile environment. I am so thankful for Dr.Zirul and all the staff at the surgery center. They were so wonderful, helpful, and kind. I highly recommend all of them!!

Dr. Zirul is a fantastic surgeon. He very successfully completed my complete thyroidectomy with 3 large nodules 6 years ago, and I'm back again for a rhinoplasty and bone spur removal. I have complete confidence in him and his ability.

Dr Zirul and his staff are amazing.. I got excellent care with them. They are kind compassionate and professional. Dr Zirul did a procedure to fix an issue caused by a bad burn. I recommend them highly!!!!

Had to wait over 8 months for an appointment then when I get there they make me wait for an hour and 15 minutes in exam room before doctor even arrives to see me. You would figure after 8 months they could have cleared a little time for me instead I'm late to work due to this lack of courtesy
