The things I witnessed here were seriously out of a book about hell. It has been about 4 years and I've tried my best to push it out of my memory as I can't do anything more than report it to the state and make a public review and hope there is justice. However it is definitely worth noting that I tried to go and find my old roommate I had while I was there and I have found out they have pulled her incisor teeth out !?!?!? I don't know why that would even be a thing considering her teeth were not rotted. They would leave her in her bed unchanged for hours , they would not plug in her tablets to be used which was the only thing for us to do, they would take away her only freedom of a smoke break if she tried to stand up for herself at all. It was honestly scary . While I was there I got the ombudsman involved because of my own personal things I was going through, and my old roommate , Chevy, and her mom seemed to want the information. I didn't know much about anything at the time and was only going through my parents, it. Seemed like they wanted me to report it all for them. I feel so guilty looking back on it now that I did not but I was scared that I was going to be targeted. I did pass along the ombudsman information and I hope they were able to get some sort of help. Being a witness to these situations is very scary because you have no authority and no way of. Permanently helping besides trying to do what you think is best at the time. Maybe I will have to deal with karma one day but I hope at least everyone living here is not going through hell like we were when I was staying there 4 years ago.

People are friendly, Campus is clean, pool exercise room. The apartments are nice size. Utilities and Basic Cable are included in your monthly rent payment. Nice Bistro and cafeteria. Maintenance has been timely and friendly. They are always willing to answer your questions and improve anything that might not be up to par. Over all the Gardens Apartments and the Immanual Campus are a really nice place to live.

Due to the original post being taken down related to reasons beyond my understanding, I feel this is very inappropriate and scary. What else are they trying to cover up? I have had a family member who resided here and I am disgusted! How is this place still in operation? Aren't they watched by the state? I have plenty of other pictures to add to this. Should I contact state?

I gave the place a I live a 3 star because I am undecided on my opinion of here. This would be like rating your housing development based on your neighbors and everyone who works there. As a place to live it's better than most but it often feels as if many treat us with sympathy rather than empathy. The difference between those two words is much wider on the receiving side than it appears from the spelling

It breaks my heart but the abuse I've endured...whether mental, physical, medical, or emotional. I have not once felt very welcome nor safe since arriving at any of the AL facilities in Arizona. They get you onto their programs, from the hospital you go to the rehabilitation center and once you arrive at your facility. Suddenly they can't remember you have special needs. If you remind them they politely ask if you'd like to be relocated...again. And of course if you pass away before anyone investigates and they have no family all the better to take money and feed their pockets until you expire and on to the next.

My sharing this review is not done lightly. My complete quality of life and that of my son’s is impacted greatly by the care he receives. My son has been at Immanuel Campus of Care for 8 months. He is a non-verbal quadriplegic who requires around the clock care. His nurses & aides take the BEST care of him: this is the fourth assisted living facility at which he has resided. The quality of all our lives has improved immensely because of the GREAT CARE they provide! The nurses, aides, and staff are the most compassionate and empathetic humans! They are really concerned about my son’s wellbeing. How many times have you heard that in a review of an assisted living facility? I know! That’s why I have to let others in my situation hear about Immanuel Campus of Care! His weekend angels, Santia, Gayle, Alex, & April go up and beyond what is expected to ensure my son is as comfortable as he can be. They each have a joyful and playful relationship with my son. I couldn’t ask for more. If you have a disabled loved one you know the craving you have for compassionate , professional care. If I have a question or concern Talana is ALWAYS available and she always produces the needed result. I am truly blessed and my son as well. He is surrounded by earth angels. I can’t ask for more.❣️

I witnessed abuse of almost every elderly patient that was in their care. I was placed here wrongly for 4 months as a young adult who was not able to do anything but lay in a bed literally 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. I was scared to report the abuse I was witnessing every hour of the day as the employees would definitely take it out on me if they saw me reporting. Very sad but extremely true. This place ruined my life and is actively ruining others’ lives as well.

Wow, I am so pleased with this facility. I toured it for my elderly mother, and she loves it there!! The staff was amazing and so welcoming. I'm so happy that my mother is being taken care of in a nice and safe environment. ?
