I had a lymphatic drainage massage with Shanti and it treated so much more than just that one thing. She is experienced and knows all the secret spots that hurt and hold stress and pain. The massage felt like a holistic treatment that addressed recent and long term physical ailments manifested from stress, activity, emotional, and spiritual matters. It was gentle but so effective that I left there feeling not just better, but also furthered in some healing I've been working on. I will definitely go back and highly recommend!!!

Words cannot describe how amazing Shanti is. I am forever grateful for how she helped me manage and improve my chronic pain. Shanti is a miracle worker when it comes to treating chronic pain. I was seeing a chiropractor, massage therapist, and acupuncturist for almost a year and still dealing with high pain levels on a regular basis. My pain significantly decreased after one treatment with Shanti and continues to improve with each visit. I've never had a massage before coming her, but as a nursing assistant at 29yo for the last year & 6 months my back has really started hurting. I've had 4 appointments with the therapist Shanti and I think this service is great. It's 3 private massage therapists with their own private rooms offering 3 different types of massage. It's clean and calm. I felt very comfortable and Shanti offers a lot of advice on how to feel better daily even when you can't see her. The prices are reasonable and they help you with billing your insurance just like a doctor's office.

I’ve been coming here for nearly a decade and finally convinced my husband to join me two years ago. I told him he had to come with me three times and if he didn’t see an improvement in his pain levels and mobility after that, I’d never bring it up again. He’s been a regular client ever since!
We both live with lifelong diseases that are debilitating and painful, and Shanti and Jayme are amazing! I don’t know that either of us would be able to to lead as full a life as we do without them. They’ve both very knowledgeable- not just about massage therapy, but whole health issues as well. Shanti has given me advice to help my husband at home that none of his doctors had mentioned to me in 20 years, and it’s helped to improve his circulation and gait! Jayme is amazing at tailoring each appointment to manage hot spots and ease pain I sometimes don’t realize I have until I get up from the table and notice it’s absence. You don’t realize how tightly you’re clenching your body when you have chronic pain, even in your sleep!
Regular appointments at Alaska Therapeutic Massage vastly improve my quality of life and help me to maintain my mobility, and I consider them a vital part of my treatment plan.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Me and my husband went in for a Valentine’s Day couples massage and from the time we came through the door we were warmly greeted, enjoyed a nice foot soak, and chocolate & refreshments followed by a great massage. WE HAD SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE WE BOOKED FOR NEXT MONTH! Please visit, you won’t regret!!!! P.S Shanti worked wonders on me, full relaxation!
