The lady at the front desk was not only rude but truly inappropriate. Even entering the treatment room and asking if the patient "was crying yet." When it was communicated clearly and assertively that it would be best for her to please leave the room she refused saying she'd "leave in a minute." I cannot comprehend this treatment in a medical facility or how she is still employed.

Terrible experience with provider Donna Rymut. Rude, demeaning, and just down right mean. Donna refused to sign off on my very healthy 7 year old's physical simply because she didn't want him taking part in the sport we were getting ready for. This was after spending over an hour completing all the random tests she could think of that I have never seen done before for a child's physical. Ended up at the very end lying saying he has an irregularity, when two doctor's after said this was not true. It is bewildering how she is able to remain employed through that practice after such a horrendous display of character and patient care.

Avoid at all costs. Doctor was rude. Asking me why I even go here because the place is for old people. I forgot to fill out a part of intake forms and she says it’s a red flag, that I’m a liar and can’t be trusted. Like I just went there for sleep apnea. Do not take anyone you care about here. She needed me to sign ROIs for my previous doctors and was complaining how it was too much work the whole time. Definitely going to report this place.

I thought every urgent care place was the same until I came here. I had my infant son with me, and he started crying while I was filling out paperwork. The nurse washed her hands, came out from the back, and asked if she could help. She rocked my son to sleep while I finished paperwork. I have no words for how wonderful that experience was.
They got me in promptly, but they must have pretty high standards for wait times because they apologized profusely for the wait. I barely even waited! The doctor was friendly and attentive, answered all my questions, and didn't talk over my head.
The lady at the front counter was still working out my copay with the insurance company (they take Tricare!) so she told me they would just mail a bill for the copay. She, also, was friendly and accommodating above and beyond my expectations.
THEN I got a call a couple days later, following up on my condition and the service they provided. I have never gotten a follow up call from a clinic before. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and each and every staff member they have. Absolutely superb service!

Edit: the new nurse they have employed is a very rude older lady. Unfortunately, the nice Russian gal they had went to greener pastures.
The receptionist is very kind and helpful - as well as all of the providers. I recommend Dr. Wasile.
I've been here a few times over he years of living here in Eagle River. The past year I have been seeing Dr. Wasile every month. I've had very positive experiences each time. Short wait to get seen, very nice staff all around. And they don't rush you. I'd recommend them!!

I just called for some advice. I am in my first trimester and came down with a bad respiratory infection. My OB is always booked and located in Anchorage so I thought I could get some answers or possibly walk in if need be. The woman on the phone refused to let me talk and rudely told me there was nothing they could do for me, that I had to see my OB! She was condescending, rude and nasty, and wouldn’t even let me speak! I was crying my eyes out after that “ conversation “ mostly due to hormones but shock that I was treated so poorly. I had simple questions. She didn’t even allow me to talk! I will never go there for anything again! Terrible service

Went their a few times and thought it was a good place to go until I went in with a fairly serious issue. I had labs done at a clinic in the village and was given medication. It didn't work. I went into Anchorage with my fiance to have a baby so I went here for a follow up. I told them what happened and where I went , what medications I got ,and how it didn't work. I was told I would have to do labs again because they didn't believe me. I did the tests and waited. A week went by so I called them they didn't know why the labs weren't back. I called three days later they still didn't have them but they came the next day. I was told they didn't find anything wrong but never got to see results. They didn't believe me so I showed them pictures. They gave me medication that took three days to get. This whole time the situation went from almost better to horrible. While I waited it became ten times worse. The meds didn't work. And again I was treated like I was seeking pills. They kept telling me how expensive the pills were. I was thinking why the heck do they care I have insurance.after giving it some thought I believe they were insinuating I was going to sell the pills on the street. I went back and forth with the doctor while he looked at me like I was a lowlife told me he didn't believe me and when I said I could prove it he didn't want to see. My condition is contagious so I have to stay away from my children and especially mynew born. Those doctors that treated me like that should be ashamed of themselves. They are supposed to help people not be judge and jury and treat sick people like criminals. They also told me if that last round of pills didn't work that there was nothing else they could do for me and to go somewhere else. If my newborn baby ends up with this I will be paying them one more visit

I highly recommend this place, I almost cut my finger off an I sat down an waited less than 60 seconds before receiving care. Dr Olga Wasile was very kind an calm while she made sure my finger was completely numb before starting to stich me up. I returned the following week for my stiches to be removed an waited maybe 5 - 10 min before being called back into the care units.
If you need urgent care in or around eagle river, this is the place to go.
