Visited Dr Moriarty after I chipped a tooth on a cruise ship. The office staff fit me in to the schedule. Dr Moriarty saw me right away. Wonderful dentist! Wish he lived in my town. Very professional clean office as well. Something to be said for a pleasant experience at the dentist.

If I could give Dr. Michael Moriarty a 10 "star" rating, I would! Incredible service! Fantastic experience! Professional and caring service, "Above & Beyond."

I was staying at a local hotel in town (Seward) to board a cruise ship on the morning of August 6, 2024. While flossing my teeth that morning, I had one of my porcelain veneers accidently dislodge from one of my teeth. I was devastated! It was very noticeable when I smiled, and I wasn't sure what to do. Here I was in a town that I wasn't familiar with and didn't know anyone local, certainly not any dentist. I immediately got online (Google) and searched for a dentist in the area finding Dr. Michael Moriarty listed about 1/2 mile away from my hotel.

I then put on my raincoat (it was raining heavy that morning) and began to walk to Dr. Moriarty's office not knowing if he could help me in my dilemma with my dislodged veneer. Once I reached his office (thankfully his office was open - 8:00am), I entered and explained my dire situation to the receptionist. She didn't know if Dr. Moriarty would be able to help me as he had a full appointment schedule that day and I was due to board the cruise ship late that morning. After filling out some initial new patient paperwork, the receptionist told me that she would talk to Dr. Moriarty and apprise him of my situation.

Thankfully, Dr. Moriarty agreed to fit me in between patient appointments. After having one of his assistants take an initial X-ray of my gumline and tooth, he examined me and explained that he could try to bond the veneer back on my tooth, however what I really needed was a crown over the tooth due to a small section of the veneer missing on one side causing a small gap between the veneer and my tooth (the reason for the veneer coming off of the tooth in the first place). I asked Dr. Moriarty to please try to bond the veneer back in place as the missing veneer would be very noticeable during our Alaskan cruise in many of the photos that my wife and I would be taking on our trip. He explained that he couldn't guarantee how long the veneer would stay in place as the gap between the veneer and tooth was substantial enough that it could dislodge again at any time. I told him I understood and wouldn't hold him responsible as it was important to me to try to have the veneer re-bonded to the tooth for our trip.

Dr. Moriarty honored my request and re-bonded the veneer to my tooth doing a fantastic job in doing so! He was able to fill the small gap with some bonding material and the veneer looked perfect as if it was new. I couldn't have been happier! He was a lifesaver in my eyes!! Not only did the veneer stay on through our weeklong cruise, but it is still on as I have an appointment scheduled to have my regular dentist place a crown on the tooth in question. I can't thank Dr. Moriarty enough.

I took a chance showing up at Dr. Moriarty's office asking such a huge request of him, and I couldn't believe that Dr. Moriarty made time for me not knowing anything about me other than I was a stranger from out-of-town asking for a huge favor of him. Dr. Moriarty is a "rock star" in my humble opinion. I couldn't be happier that he made time for me and helped me through my upsetting and stressful situation. I smiled big through all the photos taken during our cruise and my wife was very thankful Dr. Moriarty came to the rescue!! THANK YOU, Dr. Moriarty! I will forever be in your debt! TEN STARS!! Fantastic professional service, ABOVE and BEYOND!!

Dr Moriarty is very knowledgeable in all aspects of dental care! His bed side manner is second to none and his ability to explain procedures and treatments leave the patient with no unanswered questions. I highly reccomend Dr. Moriarty and will travel from the lower 48 for care from him!

Dr Moriarty is as good as it gets when it comes to a good all around dentist. He does good work and makes it a point to help you know what he is doing and why. Everyone is friendly and professional about their work as well. It's a good environment.
