Great care and staff. My father just stayed here for 2 weeks to rehab after having leg surgery and everything went as smooth as possible. He had no complaints and staff made sure he was taken care of from the beginning. We would definitely come back if needed and would recommend this facility to anyone that need nursing services.

I recently had the privilege of experiencing The Shores Skill Nursing facility's exceptional quality of care and their outstanding rehabilitation program firsthand. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately impressed by the level of professionalism, compassion, and expertise exhibited by the staff.

The primary focus at The Shores is undoubtedly providing top-notch care to their residents, and it shows in every aspect of their services. The dedicated team of nurses and caregivers demonstrates unwavering commitment in attending to the individual needs and preferences of each resident, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

What truly sets The Shores apart, however, is their outstanding rehabilitation physical therapy program. The facility houses state-of-the-art equipment and employs highly skilled physical therapists that have vastly improved the lives of many residents, No matter the age, condition, or specific rehabilitation goals, the therapists at The Shores develop personalized treatment plans that yield remarkable results.

I consistently witnessed the dedication and genuine care the staff showed towards all residents. They create an environment that is not just a place to heal, but a true home away from home. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and inclusive, fostering a sense of community among residents and caregivers alike.

In addition to the exceptional care and rehabilitation services, The Shores Skill Nursing offers a wide range of recreational activities and social events, ensuring that residents remain engaged and stimulated. The facility also provides delicious and nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary needs, offering a well-rounded and holistic approach to overall well-being.

The administrative staff at The Shores is equally praiseworthy. They efficiently handle all documentation, communication, and financial matters, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for both residents and their families.

As someone who has experienced other nursing facilities, I can confidently say that The Shores stands at the pinnacle of quality care. Their exceptional rehabilitation physical therapy program and unwavering commitment to resident well-being make them a true gem in the industry.

I highly recommend The Shores Skill Nursing to anyone in need of skilled nursing care or rehabilitation services. The exemplary staff, outstanding facilities, and unwavering dedication to enhancing the lives of its residents make it deserving of a five-star rating.

My grandmother just got discharged from here and she received such great care from the staff. They were all very professional and caring. She received wonderful therapy and made a world of difference for her mobility. I would definitely recommend this place.

My mother was transferred here through a Kaiser referral. DO not use this facility if you can avoid it. They are like a warehouse. Huge with approximately 300 patients. The building is old and falling apart. They squeeze patients into small rooms old beds and poor call buttons (if they don’t fall off the the bed). There are full time maintenance people because they constantly have to fix beds, toilets, AC, and anything else that breaks down. The management and communication is poor. Service depends on the overworked caretakers who rush from one client to another. Staff can work 16 hour shifts. How conscientious can you be if you were working that much ? The one star is for poor management, poor care, bad communication, poor facilities and poor record keeping. They call it “post care” but mom lay on her back for 4 weeks outside of the once a day physical therapy she got. But no therapy on weekends. She also got COVID there as they put a COVID positive person in her room. She is 95 years old. Took them 7 hours to move the COVID positive person only after I complained to the HEAD administration. Mom was NEVER given one bath, nor had her hair washed while being there for one month after numerous requests to nurses, administration and the social workers. Lots of “yes” “yes” but no follow through. A few kudos to some great overworked nurses, the nutritional head, and physical therapists. Photos explain more explicit photos of the facility which make the work more difficult for staff

My grandma was here for rehab after being in the hospital.

She made amazing progress with therapy, they even got her taking steps upstairs in the rehab gym!

Staff were all friendly and kind, answered our questions professionally and she had nothing but good things to say about her CNAs and nurses.

Very caring and professional staff. The nurses Julie & Tanya who took care of my mom were compassionate and listen to her needs. The Rehab people like Lydia and her staff were top notch. A "Big Thank You" for all of the staff and nurses that took care of my mom.

I honestly don’t recommend this place at all.
I use to be a caregiver for a long time and the care in this facility is totally ridiculous & non caring employees.
No extra pillow,blankets etc
Call lights on for over a hour is ridiculous.
You can talk to nurses&med techs and they just walk away or ignore you . Station 5 was the most terrible station I ever experience.
There was one Mexican lady there that actually did care she was a Angel she did her job well and was very respectful she deserves recognition and a raise the way that lady works.
Other than that almost a month and it was bad including the case worker just lazy and rude.
Really hate doing bad reviews but it was that bad.
One med tech came in with a diabetic meter and it already had blood on a strip smh 🤦🏻‍♀️ like maybe you should consider another job title she’s also rude and would tell my husband he don’t need his pain meds who does that to a man that’s blessed to be alive and is a minister.
Please don’t take your loved ones there and if you do
Don’t go to station 5 .
