1) BAD COMMUNICATION- Staff is terrible at communicating with family about their loves ones. One several occasions have we asked to know something and they never give callbacks for
updates to the matter.

2)TERRIBLE CARE- My grandmother has fallen 2x under the staffs lack of care or supervision. BOTH TIMES she was on the floor helplessly, no nurse or aide in sight. They DO NOT care about residents only to take their social security checks every month! She has been here roughly 3 years and she is basically surviving on her own will she has to do everything herself with the little bit of mobility she has nobody to assist her in changing clothes/transferring to her bed from wheelchair, nobody to help her if she needs restroom, no assistance with hygiene besides showers.

3) OLD AND OUTDATED! Don't let the pretty outside of the building fool you this place is run down and outdated on the inside and dirty/smelly.

UNLESS YOUR FAMILY IS FORKING OVER A GOOD DIME $$$$$ EVERY MONTH EXPECT MEDIOCRE CARE AT THIS FACILITY!

Definitely looking into a better and actually skilled nursing home to better fit our loved ones needs!

My husband and I moved here last March, refugees from the snowy winter where we lived up near Grants Grove. The apartments here are airy and beautiful, and there are many amenities such as the evening meal in the dining room, lovely gardens here and there and reasonable pricing. Most of all, the kindness from both the staff and residents makes it an upbeat and happy place to live.

The care my mother is receiving at the Sierra View Skilled Nursing Facility is so good it brings tears to eyes. The entire staff - medical, social work, administrative, support, dining, dietary - everyone! - has been warm, kind, competent, responsive, proactive, and just plain helpful. Even when things have slipped through the cracks, as will inevitably happen when caring for a group of people with complex medical needs, they have been gracious, quick to respond and acknowledge, and take action.

The dining room, aka Founders Room, is a hub of activity during the day, full of windows and light, often music, sometimes with Piano Rudy playing for the residents as they dine. 🥰 A variety of scheduled activities occur daily, both in the Founders Room and elsewhere in the facility, including The Bistro, a large, high-ceiling, many-windowed room where coffee and cookies and soft-serve ice cream is served up. Creative coloring, music and movies, “hand spa” aka full-on manicures, and gingerbread house making are just some of the opportunities for socializing, self-care, and creative engagement I’ve seen offered.

But really, beyond responsive, competent care and social connection, the most pervasive and important element we are experiencing here is *kindness.* Real, present, grounded kindness, unforced and unhurried. I am so grateful that my mother has the opportunity to be cared for here. 💗

I am a first-time visitor, but I really appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness i received as I met my friend there. It was a nice day, and they offered an outside visit if she would like to try it. Also brought her a blanket...

My friend looked great and well cared for. The grounds are pleasant and "treed!" Thank you very much.

I love this place! Not because I work there, but because 5 years ago I went searching for a place for my parents to live. That's when I found Sierra View Homes Retirement Community. My Step Mom lived in both Residential Care and Skilled Nursing. With my Father living in an Independent Living Apartment it was easy for him to visit her daily. I'm so blessed that they were there for my family in her final years. They provided her a great place to live, and they treated her with respect and dignity she deserved.

My parents have been at Sierra View for the past year-and-a-half. We have found SV to be a loving, caring community of people who genuinely are concerned for the well-being of your family members. They are quick to respond when called upon and always have a willingness to help you navigate through changes that come along. The Senior Living Apartment is certainly a great setup for parents transitioning out of their homes. It brings us great comfort to know that in a moment's notice somebody can be up in their room checking them should the emergency cord get pulled.

It has been almost two years since our parents moved into the Terrace Apartments at Sierra View Homes. Since then we have had numerous opportunities to interact with Sierra View's staff on our parents' behalf. Whether our concern was a simple thing like having dinner brought up to our parents because of the summer heat or dealing with an emergency situation that required transport to the ER via ambulance, the people at Sierra View always demonstrate compassion, understanding, and professionalism. I believe this is due, in great part, to an obvious hands-on approach to management. It is not uncommon to see Sierra View's management staff waiting tables in the dining hall or the executive director tenderly feeding a wheelchair-bound resident.

Wonderful visit with my Grandma today on her 103rd birthday! Doing her hair and makeup was so sweet and the special lunch and decorations were above and beyond expectations! Thank you for caring for her for the past 14 years!
