I was looking for a dentist in California with just recently moving. I’m so glad I was recommended to Horizons Dental by a coworker. They are amazing. They always go over results and future procedures in detail and make sure you feel comfortable. Plus, they do amazing work. Highly recommend!

I am a senior who has been treated for many years by Dr. Dale Villasenor when he was in Pleasant Hill, and then followed him when he took over the office known as Horizon Dental in Walnut Creek.

This is what I have found. He is courteous, competent, and reasonable in price. Even in what is normally an uncomfortable procedure, I have felt comfortable and without pain. He takes the time to explain dental options and procedures.

His staff is also very friendly, making me feel comfortable.

Dr Dale is a good dentist, but his wife Ivy the officer manager is unprofessional and downright rude. They pad the bill for treatment. I called my dental carrier and was told the same crown with the same material would be a quarter of the price that they quoted me. Also, Ivy has hung up on me several times, once when I called about a treatment and had a couple of questions. She told me, she didn't have time to talk about this and hung up.She also hung up on me because I wanted to ask Dr. Dale a question about my treatment. She cancelled a teeth cleaning the day before, and had to wait 4 months to get a cleaning. It just goes on and on. I don't trust them at all. So unprofessional and nasty too.

Dr. Dale and his friendly and professional staff have provided outstanding dentistry services to my wife and me for years. Dr. Dale is an artist in every sense of the word. My front teeth are beautiful thanks to his talent. I have recommended Horizons Dental to my friends and will continue to do so. I had my teeth cleaned yesterday in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Needless to say I was a bit nervous but the entire process from front desk to teeth care was handled perfectly. Temperature check, covid screening questions, hand washing, and extensive PPE were all there. I felt safer there than I have in my own backyard with my grandkids.

Relocating to Walnut Creek, I left behind a 25-year history with a dental team I held in high regard. Concerned about finding a new dental practice that measured up to my demanding standards I was extremely fortunate to be referred to Dr. Dale and his team. In the new location just under six months no detail was overlooked to ensure and optimum patient experience. While few look forward to a visit with the dentist I will say Horizons Dental is a changemaker in that regard. So glad to be under their care!

I look forward to going back. The staff is friendly, and the Dentist makes himself available. This has been a rarity for me in my previous Dentist's office. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have any electric toothbrushes for sale, which speaks to an issue with whoever is doing inventory. I also mentioned my desire for a night guard and all they did was check if my insurance covered it. Never went over how it works, or any other details about the process. Overall some small nitpicks in an otherwise enjoyable dental experience.

I wish I had switched to Horizons Dental sooner. Great attention and service. You know you are in good hands when you learn things about your bone structure that you had no clue about. Dr. Dale has a keen eye for detail!

Great Dentist and Great Staff. If you are looking for a Dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Dale. I have been a patient for several years. He takes his time, and makes sure you are comfortable during the whole visit.
