I enjoyed my time at Unitek College; the teachers were really helpful, and I particularly like the hands-on learning environment. I am a recent graduate of the LVN program. I am writing this review because I see most of these reviews are from MA's, and I wanted to encourage anyone interested in LVN. First of all, pick the program length that works best for you whether it is 12 or 18 months, you will still make it to the end! Within my program, the most troubling thing was the inconsistency in instructions it was either an instructor having to be switched out or not all information that needed to be shared was shared during the lecture occasionally. Besides a minor inconvenience, you will not let those things break you into becoming the nurse you desire to be. You will use your resources, such as ATI, ATI handbooks, simple nursing, YouTube videos, etc. Whatever helps you with the most accurate information to pass those nursing exams and understand the concepts. My best instructors were Mrs. Clark, Ms. Davis, Mrs. Cruz, and Mrs. Jam. I had Mrs. Clark for two clinical rotations, and she truly cared about the students' mental health and well-being while also teaching them the essential skills they needed to be good nurses as she has many years of experience. Mrs. Cruz was our lead teacher, and she had her way of lecturing change wasn't always bad it was all about how you adjust to the changes, but if there was a problem, she always fixed the problems as best as she could. Just stay on top of it and use your resources and network, and when you get discouraged about whether you can make it or not, remember why you signed up in the first place!!

I recently completed the Medical Assisting program at Unitek College and it was incredible. Everyone was really nice and helpful and learning new topics thoroughly thanks to our instructor, Ms.D. She is a great instructor and helped me so much throughout my program. I want to give a shout out to Career Services and Richie for always motivating us and keeping us on the right track!

Very thankful for my instructors Ms. T and Ms. Cook for making in such a welcoming environment, letting us make mistakes and helping us learn from them. I have recently finished the Medical Assisting Program, which was recommended to me by a family member. I strongly recommend Unitek for its exceptional instructors, particularly Ms. James, Ms. C, and Ms. D, who taught me excellent knowledge and motivated me to excel during every lab session. Also, thank you to Career Services (Richie) for working hard to help me build a resume, prepare for a mock interview, and find an externship site. The environment is welcoming, with friendly students always ready to assist. This program is excellent for people seeking hands-on training and theory at an accelerated time to help prepare them for the field.
