I removed my implant today, and Dr. Gonzales is amazing 😍she is the best of the best and May God bless her!!!! So caring and kind she cares about her patients and is reassuring ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I left feeling happily and a lot less nervous!

I’ve been coming to watts health center for some time. Every time that I come I’m not sure if it’s because the staff has been working there for years and are comfortable with their positions but in every department the clerks and receptionist are on their phones. Placing patients on hold to resume with their phones calls about their personal life and then after they finish their conversations they ask for your date of birth and information for you to check in. Some days the clerks don’t feel like doing their job and they will refer you to another clerk that they assume has nothing else to do. I witness a patient being in pain and the clerk carrying on with a personal phone call, being a patient in pain waiting for the doctor can be an inconvenience because the last thing a patient would like to hear while in pain is someone who works for the clinic personal phone calls. I would also like to see change in how they issue out appointments. Watts health center no longer ask if you are available for an appointment they just schedule you anywhere that you can fit in. There also been multiple errors made but I seem to overlook them because this is my childhood clinic. I’ve also been having difficulties accessing my patient portal and there is nobody able to assist me. Everyday in every department is the same issues and when higher up poisons walk through they pause heir phone calls or hide their phones and then afterwards they get back on the phone and resume with their conversation. I was once told to hold on while a rep finished her call and hung up and then she checked me in, it was so disturbing because it did not seem like patient care matter. I can’t make a complaint on one specific person because it seem like every clerk an receptionist in all departments do the same thing. It’s getting so bad to the point where at first I didn’t care but now I want to make a complaint to the medical boards of California. It starting to cause delays to patient care…. I will hope moving forward to possibly seeing the change or seeing new employees that actually put their patients need first.

This center is by far one of the WORST health care providers I’ve ever been to. I have been holding off from posting a review because I am a Watts native (born and raised) and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. This place needs to be shut down. There are apparently no doctors there. They have been shorted staffed for YEARS! Last year I went to the Urgent Care there and almost had a fight with a doctor because he was extremely rude and aggressive. He slammed his badge down and said I can have it. He the walked out of the room and left his badge with me. I had to talk to someone who was in charge but I don’t how far that went. I still have the picture of his badge in my phone.

I am by far not a difficult patient. I actually only go to the doctor if it’s emergent. I just recently tried to get a follow up appointment from an ER visit and 3 weeks later now they want to schedule an appointment. After I have called countless time and left voicemails about the severity of my possible heart problems, they called 3 times in one day to reschedule an appointment that is already set a month away. They keep offering an another location but I keep telling me I’m not going there. I work near this center and live near this center. I would need to take a full day for that appointment at their other location opposed to me just leaving work slightly early or come in late.

Their reasoning is short staff on doctors. WELL CLOSE IT DOWN! Everyone that works in there is rude and don’t want to be there anyways.

Please don’t come here! Save yourself the time and stress. They are terrible!

I came from Visalia to here for my first appointment and it felt like a interrogation about my living, family matters such as my relationships with my parents, and the most outrageous questions of them all by the long red head employee checking me in was have I been in contact with anybody in prison all of these questions like I’m speaking to a social worker when I simply came because I was breaking out in hives!!!!

I had a 9:10 am appointment at adult medicine. They tried to cancel while I’m there I asked to speak to a supervisor she came out got me seen the same day . And some unprofessional lady in the office tells another staff member tell her she needs to hear better how unprofessional a staff member talking about a patient made me report it to my health provider and I might just contact medical board horrible place .believe it or not this place was a great place at one time not anymore as soon as I finish my treatments I’m out of their only because I had to go to the hospital right after and they referred me to specialist I really needed to be seen .they made two appointments one their and one in Crenshaw and Jefferson their mistake not mine . Look into it you will see yourself .

the worst clinic you can have to deal with has cancelled appointments left and right for my self with a1c on 7.9 high 5 times in a row sensed June but they swear to provide the most excellent services bums sleep in the front the office itself isn’t clean they are on their personal phone 100% of the time anyone is at the office. They don’t even call to cancel they wait for you to arrive and then cancel. Worst clinic don’t go there

This is the worst health care facility to visit they will let you become terminally ill or die the have no sencerity nor urgency for patients needs I have a complaint against them with the medical board as well as a petition going around with other clients that's been neglected as I have! DO NOT go here! Specially if you have any health concerns or problems that needs treatment due to it will take looong periods of time to be briefly seen (NOT thoroughly) just to get a referral to again have to wait extensively to go somewhere else! I believe this facility just takes as much of our money and aid as they can get without really treating Us cause again if you need treatment you have to wait for a referral to somewhere else! Sooo what are they there for?

I’ve been to this clinic for a while but every time I make an appointment they always do it with an attitude, yesterday I called them because they never called me for my sons appointment & then after they wanted to reschedule me after they cancelled and NOT inform me they did. It was from their part that they didn’t check his insurance right now I have to wait for my son to get seen they could a made an exception since it was their mistake to be seen the same day I called . It was just an E-visit . I have to change it as soon as after my daughters appointment (that’s if they don’t cancel again) 🤦🏻‍♀️… because I’ve waited for so long for these appointments bad customer service and bad care !!
