This practice is wonderful! Dr. Lo and her assistant Angel take time to explain everything and are very thorough. They explained to me the grading of gum disease, and identified a small cavity to keep an eye on (said it probably didn’t need to be filled yet). The practice is very streamlined and efficient, and it’s in a very nice office space with modern equipment. Everyone is very friendly and it’s got the personal touch I was looking for. Highly recommended!

My kid has been to the pediatrics for cleaning and check up 3 times a year since she was two. The office is great and the staff is pretty good and cooperative, especially Dr. Jonathan, he gave us professional advice to take care my kid's teeth. And from the very beginning, the office said our insurance Delta dental PPO is acceptable and we haven't been charged.

On October 19, we brought our kid to an urgent visit because her adult tooth comes out and the baby one is till there and very loose. We hope to remove to the baby one to leave space for the adult one. The office quote me at $210 and need me to pay in full in advance and then the office will file the claim for us. However during the visit, no one informed me the dentist on duty is out of network. Since we are fully covered for all the past visits, I defaulted the dentists in this office are in the network, we just need to pay 10% coinsurance finally.

Today when I got the statement from the insurance, it just covered around $90. I called the insurance, they said it is because the dentist is out of network!!!

Aren't you supposed to tell me before you do it or I pay it? Is this the way you make money? If any one informed me the dentist is out of network, I won't proceed that tooth removal treatment at Columbia.
