I had been a patient at this clinic for over fifteen years. When I write a letter to Jamie VanTine asking fir her assistance, she did not even have the courtesy to reply to my letter. I found her phone number thru church members , and I begged her to respond to my please for help, as I was in pain and agony. she did not even have the courtesy to reply to my text message either. I had written to the Clinic Manager, and the Hospital Board of Directors, all of whom declined to even respond to my correspondence. The Doctor I had there was Dr Parsons, after being his patients for 15 years, I had writing him one letter to him , he replied he had "better things to do", and would not reply to any more of my inquiries, And abandoned me to be without any type of healthcare. I DO NOT recommend this facility. T.M.B Fire Captain, Emergency Medical Technician, Retired.

My son got seen so fast, after getting hurt at basketball tournament. Everything was fast paced- wait time, check in, paperwork, nurse visit, Dr came in right after, X-ray tech, & then Dr again..
We are completely satisfied with their care and service.
Thank you Whitman Hospital ER!! All staff done a fabulous job.

L&D nurses are the salt of the earth. I cannot say enough good things about the Whitman Hospital in Colfax. My Dr and surgeon, Maggie Leland is amazeballs. Literally every person in the OR was great. I wish I could remember my anesthesiologists name, she was such a grounding and calming presence while I was going to through something pretty terrifying. 5 out of 5 stars.

I am giving two stars because the first set of nurses and x-ray tech were super nice and genuinely caring. When they had a shift change or whatever the one nurse had a horrible attitude (simply asked for one of those little packs of antibiotics they usually have in the drawer) the doctor was very blah, irritated and uninterested in what was really going on except for the fact that some one may be hurting my kid at home, when she is very obviously well loved. Did not really listen to anything I had to say without cutting me off. Altogether just unpleasant. I have been here many many times on the weekends and saw some awesome ER doctors and staff, last night however was the worst. I would love to talk to someone about it in person actually.

I went in with an embarrassing symptom. My physician is Anthony Vitto. He treated me with kindness and respect. He calmed me down and ran tests and with his quick thinking he caught my cancer early. He caught it at Stage 1. I do not hatt to fight cancer because of his quick thinking. This place truly has your back and I would recommend it to everyone.

I called Friday morning to Whitman Medical Clinic because my son has a raised and rapidly expanding sore on his left temple area, blistering and dark red in color. I was told that no one had any openings that day, but to take him to their Urgent Care Clinic today (Saturday 1/27/23. We got there at 10:05 had to wait i line 30 minutes to just get to the receptionist to be checked in. Receptionist told us this was not an urgent matter, we would not be seen, and call them on monday and get an appointment. Since when do receptionists perform triage? And why were we told to go to urgent care for help if they get to refuse care? This is b.s.!!!v

I had great experiences until having to see a new provider, Jamie Mellor/Van Tine, when I was injured in late July (its now December). I never received my August x-ray results. I called several times only to be told "they were not signed." Eventually my PT was able to get me my results through his mechanisms. Next, it took over a month for my MRI to be ordered. Again, I called several times to find out what the issue was and kept being told to wait. I finally made an appointment with a different provider to see if he could tell me if there were any issues on the clinic's end or if it was an insurance hold up. Interestingly enough, I was called the next week by radiology to set up an appointment. It took me paying money for another appointment/provider simply to ask if someone else could make sure my referral was actually put in. Here I am a week later waiting on MRI results. They have been read and signed by a radiologist but they are "not signed" by Mrs. Van Tine so I cannot know my results. I have called twice to figure out why she has not looked at my results which is needed so I can get an orthopedist referral. I am transferring care to a clinic that does not hire providers who willfully neglect their patients. I cannot believe the (lack of) care I've received here. I have great respect for medical professionals and this is extremely disappointing. My animals receive better care from their veterinarians. Edit: Probably also prudent to add that during my follow-up appointment, where I was of course charged for the visit, I never had the opportunity to talk to her. It was a student the whole time.

It took 11 days, and me calling more than 5 times for Jaimie Mellor to get back to me regarding my broken ribs. I’ve been seeing Dr.’s at Whitman Medical for over 20 years and have never been treated this way. Her advice is movement to heal. Kinda hard to move with broken ribs. I feel like an ignored statistic. I did not ask for pain medication, but it would have been really nice to have gotten something to relieve some of the pain so I can move to begin the healing process. I do have to commend the nurses who have to work with her. If she blatantly disregards her patients the way she disregarded me, I can only imagine how she treats them.
I will not be going back. My trust with Whitman Medical is lost. A Dr. Or any other medical professional takes an oath to provide care to their utmost diligence for their patients. And Ms. Mellor failed me when I needed her and believed in her.
