Do not trust the information the desk people have to tell you. They don’t know anything. I specifically communicated with them about prices and was told what I was paying for would cover everything for the entire visit . Now I’m receiving a $300 bill and when I called them the woman on the phone said specifically “ We are under the impression that the $75 covered the entire visit however we are not sure what the billing department says” absolutely unacceptable. So much I don’t know from the desk people who are our only source of information and they’re the once taking our insurance info and money?

The care I’ve had is usually good - but they rotate their doctors/PA’s and I rarely have the same person more than 6mos. I think this must be a terrible place to work for them because no one wants to stay. Lots of poor people on MediCal etc overburden the system and my hunch is it all lands on these docs who have no good reason to stick it out.

Then it’s a pain in the ass to have someone new all the time who has no idea who I am, and I can’t even get an appt for months out.

My new physician in Oakhurst is Amanda, recommended by Christine upon her leaving. Amanda seems to be very caring and takes the time to listen and has a good bedside manner, though I've only met her once so far, she made me feel heard. Christine left big shoes to fill though. Thank you to all the staff at Camarena health for always being so compassionate and always greeting us with a smile, you are all amazing.I live in gratitude everyday for all the referrals and help I am receiving. Thank you for all you do. I appreciate you all.

Worst experience in my life! One of the Primary care providers tried to treat me as if I was a child. I've never in my life been treated in such a disrespectful manner. The PA asked me if i took Norco which I have not because this very location would not give me any of my prescriptions for months. I went to another doctor received a different pain script which worked amazing but when I went for my A.D.D medication they asked me if i took norco I said no I hadn't in some time. They never said I had to disclose everything they only asked me about my listed prescriptions which I had not been taking. Keep in mind all this would have been avoided had they done their job in the first place. They stalled me out wouldnt give me my A.D.D medication for over a year. I nearly got the boot from fresno state due to this. plus it took forever to get my medical records and then the first visit they drug test me. I do not regret getting a pain script from another doctor or anything from the emergency room! I would have been in misery longer had I not. Stay away from this place they do not care about you or your health, they will be little you and treat you like a child when they can't even do their job right!

out-of-towner here, LA native. I personally had the best experience. The ladies at the front were very friendly and attentive when I walked in this past Saturday at 10 am. Thank you Dr. Drake for mending my hubby’s injuries. Dr. Drake was warm and had the most amazing bedside manner; he made us feel at ease. We have Kaiser insurance but paid a $75 visitation fee; very reasonable price.
