I came to this UMI because the one that was closest to me never answered their phone.
This place answered immediately and accepted me right away.

Soheila conducted my brain scan. She was very sweet and everything went smoothly 🙂
I was very satisfied with my visit.
Super clean!

The only downside is that (I can’t recall exactly) but you have to pay $10 or $15 dollars to park in the parking structure.
And that parking structure is the only parking spot that’s around the whole block.
Pretty ridiculous amount to pay even if you are there for an hour.

But to me it was somewhat worth it due to the other office not answering my calls after a week of trying to get ahold of them 🙂

They’re good people. Do your part and they’ll do theirs. It’s very clean and there’s a small market in the main lobby outside. The staff are very kind and chill.

new edit: I am now going to Women's Diagnostic Imagining Medical Center and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them if you want very professional compassionate service.
old edit: not the worst place, to be honest. they are a lot more responsive than the dtla UMI location but i don't want to be driving well out of my way to get a little better service if I don't need to. parking here is also a nightmare.

I've had to come here twice for imaging and would recommend it. The staff were super friendly and kind. I had to wait for an insurance approval and they liaised with my insurer and kept me updated throughout, which was a big relief for me. Their prices seem reasonable. Only real negative was that they were often running behind, which is understandable these days, so allow for extra time. The parking situation is kind of weird (the building was valet-only one day) but they validated so it was free for me.

The front office staff was polite but not overly welcoming or helpful. The tech that did my mammogram, Marina, was so rude, rushed through the process of taking the images and made the exam excruciatingly painful, because she was upset about something right before a the moment she greeted me. I had never had someone done this test in such a rushed and unprofessional way. She got all images on the first try with almost no adjustments and barely looked at the images on the screen. She was pulling and pushing me with such rudeness that I said that she needed to adjust her attitude and do the test in a way that was not hurtful or I was going to walk out. She replied it was supposed to hurt, “haven’t you done this before?” She abided after my warning with a terrible attitude, without a single apology.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. Furthermore I never got my results in the mail and Had to call my doctor to ask if they had gotten results. I should have reported Marina to the board because she was unprofessional and I really doubt the quality and accuracy of my exam.

Insult yo injury, parking was a nightmare, so many other places in the area that I’m sure and 100”s of times better than this sad and terribly managed place.

This was an AMAZING experience. Sorry to the people who couldn't understand that wait times are different for others because of the procedures and technicians availability not first come first served. The front office staff was efficient with all the patients coming in. (Believe me-I have an eagle eye for inefficiency) I only waited about 5 minutes before my tech came to get me. Her name was Christina, and I think she is probably THE BEST MAMMOGRAM TECHNICIAN IN BEVERLY HILLS!
Granted, I have never had a mammogram before, but she had a way about her that was both caring and no-nonsense. She KNEW how to get the best image and did it without apology. She is proud of her proficiency and that made me feel really comfortable knowing that my breast tissue was going to be clearly seen. Thanks UMI Century City!!!

The technician, a lady was super nice and made me feel at ease as i was very nervous. Came in at 8.55 am and was done by 9.15 filled out few forms quickly . i just needed a chest x-ray. Thank you guys! NB. If you dont want to pay the high price parking ,drive one block south on Olympic and make a left on Spalding dr. Plenty parking for 2 hours. 3 mn walk
