My staff and I had the great opportunity to meet the Administrator and excellent DSD Manny of Kei Ai Facility in Gardena. We had the chance of touring the Facility and meeting their wonderful and hard working nursing staff and happy patients. My staff and I were strucked by the excellent msnagement, cleanliness and organization skills of the Administration. Thus , the moment my Nurse Assistant students graduated and pass their board exams and became CNAs, i recommended them to work for DSD Manny. They were hired and are now happily working for him. We highly recommend Kei Ai to anyone who needs compassionate and hard working nurses to take care of their elderly loved ones.

Kei Ai Gardena is an amazing facility. I have had the honor of working with two patients currently housed in this facility and the director and staff have impressed me from day 1.

The facility is clean, the staff is knowledgeable, dedicated, and provides compassionate care in excellence - without fail.

The patients that I visit are always clean, well cared for, and in good spirits. This speaks to the level of exceptional care that they receive.

This isn’t commonplace in the skilled nursing community in greater Los Angeles. I visit patients in other skilled nursing facilities in Los Angeles, and I’m often so saddened by how poorly the patients are cared for; it breaks my heart to leave them in these substandard conditions.

I know that making the decision to place your loved one in a skilled nursing facility isn’t an easy one. However, if you want to place them in the hands of a loving, competent, and dedicated team of medical professionals, then there is only one place in Los Angeles for you to choose - Kei Ai Gardena.

A Great Facility! Super kind and compassionate Staff, Nurses, Cnas, From Admissions coordinator-Josh, Ambrose- Director of Staff Development, Administrator- Kyle Satow, Receptionist-Gracie, Social Service Director- April, Business Manager, Sandy to Nurses-Devine, Lala, Inda, Antonia, Abigail, Danica, Kevin, Leonor, Josie, Mary, Lola, Z, Daisy, Noemi, Patrick, Mark, Katie, Brittany, Vanessa, and some other ones too. Only thing, wish there were more Amazing Nurses and Cnas like them!!! A Family oriented and very caring place. My 90 year old Mother in law was very blessed to be under their care for a little over a year. She came in with a broken left elbow. The Amazing Therapy team, helped her regain full use of her elbow and hand and strength. Speech therapy helped her strengthen her speech and swallowing. Activity- Alicia/ Heidi, Activity Director Joseph are so nice and caring and made it fun and enjoyable for the residents and families visiting. Teresa- Dietitian/Kitchen Manager- Cindy made delicious foods and the amazing care planning team helped her regain her weight and strength. Also, the residents there are very nice and caring. Thank

My mom has been residing at kei ai for the past 2 years and we’ve been through several management personnel however the consistency in staff has made all the difference in the quality of her care.
Within any care facilities there’s exceptional CNA’s and the subpar ones that are strictly there for the paycheck, and I think it’s important to call out both

This nursing home in Gardena is very unassuming on the outside but on the inside it’s a different world. It’s busy just like any health facility but in a very positive way. Compared to other nursing homes, Kei-Ai feels more alive and they know what they are doing.
The dining room is spacious and I have been observing it all day. There was music and exercise in the morning, lunch and the my favorite part is the movie theater in the same dining room. It’s in a big projector where everyone can see. And they serve popcorn! The smell of popcorn definitely makes everyone movie ready.
Whoever is in charge, all I want to say is THANK YOU for going the extra mile taking care of the elder generation!

My mother lives in the South Bay, so we did SO MUCH RESEARCH to decide the best place to be after her surgery, and we are so glad we did! The time and effort spent asking questions and going on a ton of tours made it all worth it because Kei-Ai South Bay is the best! The rehab team is amazing. The entire facility is clean, no odors, and the staff is always friendly, helpful, and loving. I can't say enough about the staff! And the administrator (Jeff) is always present, is super friendly, and super helpful. He gave me his personal number to get a hold of him any time. Kei Ai South Bay is truly amazing. My mom loves the activities too- they are always doing something fun. And the food is very good. My mom explained her likes and dislikes to Cindy (kitchen manager), and she was very sweet to accommodate. As long as you don't have expectations of prime level steaks or an all-organic diet, you will surely like the tasty food. Anyways, I could go on for days about how great this place is! My mom will be going home soon, and hopefully she does not have a fall or get sick that would require her to go back to a skilled nursing place, but if she does, I know we will be begging to come back!

My 91 year Aunt is currently residing at Kei-Ai South Bay in Gardena since December of 2023. I am so happy about her being at this Facility! Torrance Memorial provided me a list of 8 facilities in the South bay area to choose from.
I started going to visit them one by one. On my journey, Kei-Ai stood out from the rest in terms of cleanliness, appearance and Leadership Team. I met with the Admissions Director, Cintya, for a tour. She was very knowledgeable and thorough. Upon my Aunts arrival, I was able to speak with Jeff Tabor, the Administrator. Jeff was great, very personable and took the time to speak with me about my Aunt's care and answer my additional questions as well. April, the Director of Social Services, was also very helpful in guiding me and answering questions regarding DPSS.
Since my Aunt has been there, I am impressed with the Nurses and CNAs and the attention that my Aunt is receiving. My Aunt has Dementia so it is critical for her to be in a caring environment and her needs are being met. The rehab has been going well and she is progressing!
I have visited at different times of the day to check to see how my Aunt is doing as well as my friends. We have found her to be neat and clean and attended to. The floors are clean and the bathroom is kept. I am also impressed with the recreation agenda, Bingo, Karaoke, etc.
Anyone who is looking to find a place for a loved one needs to feel comfortable that they will be taken care of in their absence. You will find that peace at Kei-Ai South Bay!

Granted, rehabs are not the place anyone wants to be. But, Kei-ah has been a caring, comforting, clean, professional rehab for my aunt. No one is sitting in dirty diapers or beds here. We are grateful to know this place exists and will keep asking for Kei-ah Southbay as future needs arise in my family. Thank you, Kei-ah Gardena!
