Had my semi annual teeth cleaning today and as always a perfect experience. Charles has been my go to hygienist for the past several years. He is always so thorough and contentious in delivering an outstanding teeth cleaning experience. In addition, the office staff are equally amazing and consistent in ensuring all questions are answered, staying ahead in scheduling the patient for the next appointment and accommodating any special needs or arrangements required. A++++++ dental practice!

I'm diligent about my oral health and have been coming to this dentist for 6 years. I will not be back.

I've always had great experiences with Dr Bliss. I had one of the worst dental experiences of my life with Dr Takeda which I can only describe as heavy handed and rushed.

I suspect part of this was due to the fact that I was the last patient scheduled for a 5pm meeting. But this is completely on the dentist -- if you can't provide quality service then don't schedule me at that time.

RUSHED: I was in and out in 30 min. This included Dr Takeda performing neck, mouth, gum exam, gum depth measurement, dental cleaning, manual scaling, polishing, flossing, and fluoride treatment. Gives you a sense of how rushed it was. This should normally take 1 hour. I arrived before 5pm, waited 5 min to be seated. Was out the door by 5:35pm.

HEAVY HANDED: the gum depth measurement was the most painful one I've had in my life. Stabbing so hard it felt unbearable. After the dental cleaning I had tears rolling down my face. This has never happened to me before. I think the doctor saw this and eased up with the manual scaling onward. But everything continued to be sloppy and rushed.

Leaving 2 stars out of respect for Dr Bliss and 6 years here but never again.

Staff is wonderful and accommodating! I was able to get a next day appointment when I called in severe pain. And I was not even an established patient. Mary Belle at the desk was awesome. Dr. Zin has a gentle touch and took time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend.

Worst cleaning ever. Only Superficial Cleaning.
I am surprised to see 5 star rating and I went for the teeth cleaning today. Dental Hygienist took x-ray and started cleaning my teeth. However, after coming home, my wife who is Dentist as well, she checked my teeth from inside and totally shocked. They cleaned only the visible part of the teeth, and whole inside palatal surface of the teeth were full of stains. Surprisingly, they cleaned the stain which was visible on my front lower teeth because of my Chai (tea) habit and that is cleaned.
But if you see the inside surface of the teeth, both lower and upper jaws, nothing was cleaned and not even tried to clean. Those stains are pretty normal compare to my tea stains.
When I called them to know, they said that "it will take 2-3 multiple seatings to clean those stains; and you will have to do multiple deep-cleaning for that". What a shittty lie. They also lied telling calculus to a stain. I have also uploaded a picture right after cleaning. Check it out the worst pic of my life. It's all about money and claiming to insurance company for the services they haven't even done.
It is like, when you are pregnant and go for delivery with the Caesarean (c-section), they would deliver the baby but will not sew back the tummy.

I am one of those people who definitely does not like the dentist. I moved to the Bay Area a couple of years ago and was holding off going to the dentist because honestly I was scared! I never consistently went to my dental check ups because I’ve always been to dental offices that caused me pain! I am so happy to say I found the dental office I was looking for! Teeth cleaning and wisdom tooth extraction was painless! Dr. Zin also thoroughly and calmly explained everything I would feel during my wisdom tooth extraction, which put me at ease. Friendly and trustworthy staff! I’ve had pleasant experiences with the office staff, dental assistants, and Dr. Zin. I’ll definitely be recommending this dental office to people I know !
